Little Oaks Discovery School — Attraction in San Antonio

I cannot say enough about Little Oaks. They have loved and cared for our babies for 5 years. The folks here have become like family to us. We have personally watched the attention, care, and LOVE they have shown our kids. This place is more than a daycare. It is a family. It is a home. It is a school. Our kids have learned more than we could imagine. Our kids brag about so many things they have learned each day. Not just superficial details... but in-depth information. They LEARN!!! This is a sad review for me to write because, after 5 years and multiple kids, we have reached the end of our time with Little Oaks. It was tough for me to say goodbye the other day. Mainly because all I could say was "thank you"... but they deserve so much more for the love they have given our children. I highly recommend Little Oaks for the learning, for the care, and for the love they give each child. Thank you, each and every one of you. If I were rich, I'd buy all of you a truckload of cupcakes, cookies, balloons, magic markers, fancy clothes, and new Toyotas. You have earned it. Until then... I'll leave a nice review on Google. This is the Best Pre School Around!!! I was very nervous when it was time for my oldest to start preschool and Little Oaks was the best choice i could have made. The staff here are fantastic! The program taught my son so much. He would come home talking about the planets and science. He started learning to read and write his name. He learned about the environment. Its not your average preschool. I also have peace of mind that it is a locked facility with strict protocols to keep our kids safe. Multiple play grounds for different ages to enjoy. Even a splash pad for hot summer days. I am so sad its time for my son to move onto kindergarten. I wish he could stay. I will definitely be sending my youngest here as well. I would trust them to watch my baby as well if I needed to. We also made some great friends here. I 100 percent would recommend Little Oaks to everyone I know. Especially nervous moms like me. We have trusted Little Oaks with all four of our boys since 2018: at different ages in their lives. From infants all the way up to after school care, all of the teachers and educators have cared and loved all of our kids like their own.

Over the years, we’ve come to see and recognize that when our kids leave Pre-K and go into Kindergarten at NISD or other charter schools, they are far more advanced than other kids who have not attended a school like this.

From the front office staff to the ownership, they’re friendly and attentive. Their communication and adherence to rules and policy are visible from security to discipline as well.

We’ve come to love the LODS team and consider them family. Without them and their dedication, we’re not sure if there would have been a better option for all our kiddos! We’re sad we won’t need to come back, but we’re glad we made that decision and our kids trusted and loved all the team there as well! They’d always have stories and laughs about their teachers and how they were treated.
