Yes so awesome this is the best park I been to so far this park opens at 5am and you can enter the park and stay all day with your fur babies and get a blanket I get two because Ladybug and Duchess like going under the cover and take there naps they have port a potties to use the restroom sometimes they are not the greatest thou so don't drink a lot of liquids and they have a filterd water you can drink that taste better than any water I bought from Walmart or Henery E Butt also they have doggy bags and a fountain for the babies to drink there water and a open field for them to see other dogs and meet other people with there fur babies and they have a soccer field under the bottom the park they have big trees and lots of shade to have a picnic or just a little peace of mind if need be go out there and support our homeless I want to pick about 2 days to feed the homeless or whoever is in the park that's hungry and have gifts or pet training from a dog specialists to enlighten peoples take on dogs agenda and health and growth and pet safety service to bring people together to start a non- profit business. Read moreWe come here often and really do enjoy visiting this park. It's a great place for walking, getting some exercise and enjoying nice scenery at the same time. The walking trails and park areas are always very clean, you can tell people don't throw their trash all over the ground and just leave it like they seem to do all over this city... There is a lot of shade on the trails from all the big, beautiful trees so that's one reason I like to come here to walk. Another is that it's just really peaceful and quiet here. Even when there are lots of other people around, something about this area maintains a very calm and chill atmosphere. It's a perfect place to bring your kids and pets to do something fun outside as a family. I would recommend this place...
Read moreGreat place to go walking or jogging. It is a widened sidewalk that goes in a circle. However, you are basically traveling around a giant hole in the ground. I am told they might be turning the dirt in the hole into a soccer field, which would be awesome. Not exactly sure the distance of the trail, but it feels significantly longer than a quarter mile. The trail is right off of Fredericksburg Rd. and highly visible from the street so it seems very safe for single women to go walking or jogging. I went right around 530 p.m. There were quite a few people on the trail but no so many that it was annoying. People were very respectful of one another.
