I was excited to try this place because the pictures online looked good but it was just okay. I ordered nachos and the chips were stale and the lemonade was too bitter. The shaved ice was okay. However, I will say the place looked very clean and the food products looked organized. I don't have a reason to return though. I much prefer La Michoacan Paleteria y Neveria on Cincinnati.

I've been here more than a handful of times, and every time I've chosen something different, each product was DELICIOUS!! The corn in a cup is sooo buttery and full of cheese. The different flavors of ice cream are impressive and so many to choose from. But the one I love the most is the banana ice cream! Full of natural flavor. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Banana Split... love that you can select your 3 ice cream flavors. And you have a handful to select. The store is clean and the menu is big enough so you have choices 😋 👌🏼 the price for a Banana Split is very good for the servings that they give you. Definitely going back

One of my favorite ice cream shops in SA! its so close to home and very convenient! El Tropico has moved venues! It's down the street (a couple blocks) from their previous location. They have a larger lobby and the same delicious foods as before. The new location also includes a small yard which I hope they utilize into a childs play area or mini dog park. Im proud to say I've tried a good amount of ice cream, paletas, corn cups, and rusas, to know I've tried the best thing in life. Tropico makes the best corn cups and rusas in S.A.! Señor and Señora Tropico (as I call them) are friendly and will give you samples of their products. I love their mangonadas. They're the perfect amount of sweet. Their chocobananas are wonderful! Señora Tropico makes the best corn cups and rusas. If you see her, ask her to make you one. So delicious! This ice cream shop is super clean and very colorful. I always try to bring a friend to show off my favorite icecream shop.
