Restaurant Depot — Attraction in San Antonio

The start of my first visit at Restaurant Depot started as walked in expecting to wait hours to get my membership card..from reading the reviews....it was 60 minutes from the time I got there to when I left with most of my shopping done! Crazy, I think I got the hot shot A team! But then I got home finding out that I was charged the regular price for cases of Coke on sale flyer, bummer! But when I called and talked to Christine, I found out the little lettering under the sale price said sale starts tomorrow, me bad, double bummer! But here's the great part, she said bring your receipt, I'll return it and you can buy it again and get the difference without bringing all the cases of Coke back!!! Awesome, because I sooo would have returned them and went back to SAMs club. For her awesomeness I did get my difference and stayed to shop some more, making my brother want to hate on me!!!! The staff was so nice asking if I need to find anything and Andrias Garcia even went beyond the call of duty to get 6 cases of Mexican peanuts from the top rack! I freaking got the Hot Shot A Team again! Only bad thing I can say, which is why they don't get 6 * oh wait Yelp only lets me give 5, ok on to the negative.... This place is a maze crammed full of good deals. If they sold mattresses I would have stayed over night, I could have been lost for a couple of days touching everything. Or I'm just slow like my brother said. Ok I'm done with my...

Although they have a great selection of products, unfortunately it's very difficult to Finally get the membership going, I've been there three months in a row and can't seem to get a card. Our church completed the online application with everything they required, and then followed up with a call to make sure they received our information and to see if there was anything else needed. Done...you would think. Nope, when I get to the San Antonio location shop and pick up the card, we were told that we some additional items that were not on their website, so then our church financial officer drove all the way over to help get things sorted, but could not they needed other documentation, that she eventually had to go back and send over. To be fair they did let me shop that day, but I was so frustrated I was not in the mood, and only purchased two of the long list of items I was going to purchase. So fast forward a month later to today, everything they require per ANOTHER phone discussion is now sent over, I have a copy of everything, just to be on the safe side so I'm now good to go. Ready to pick up my card and shop, super excited church got a new stove and 24cf freezer ready to fill it. NOT! NOW Its something else. I'm going to be looking for other restaurant supply companies, or try to keep my shopping to Sam's...

My Experience In This Place :

Receiving was polite and gentle Appointment time 9:00 am .. checked in 8:50 am .. on dock 1 at 8:55 am and they start unloading me right away If u come north use 150 Babcock Road , if u come south from Fredericksburg Rd .. careful on right turn to Babckock .. after that right turn use second driveway to get to the docks .. u will see the docks on right when u come close to entrance .. careful driveway has hill .. make sure u release both brakes when u check in .. u can easy roll back Dock area is tight but manageable .. specially dock 2 I will not suggest to sleep night time .. neighborhood looks weird .. No portable restrooms outside .. i didn't ask inside so they may let u use it while unloading In General had good...
