A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience During Holy Week
I visited St. Matthewâs Catholic Church in San Antonio on Holy Wednesday for confessions, which were scheduled from 2 to 6 PM. When I arrived, I was blown away by how many people were thereâhundreds, easily. I waited for an hour and a half, and despite the long wait, most of us didnât get to see a priest for individual confession. It was packed beyond anything I expected.
But what happened next was one of the most beautiful and powerful moments Iâve ever experienced in my life.
Recognizing that so many of us were about to leave heartbroken, the priest came out and offered a general absolution to the entire crowd. We mustâve been over 200 people, and we were all absolved of our sins together. We prayed together, stood in silence together, and truly felt the presence of God together. Sister 'T' loves and cares for all the families and is truly interested in every child. I have found a true church family. I highly recommend St Matthew Catholic Church and St Matthew Catholic...

But unfortunately, I forgot what type of cars they were giving away for. They have a CCD for kids, Pre-K to 12th grade. But did you know that saying oh my G O D is saying his name in vain? And yes, saying O. M. G is too. Vain is when you don't think about a word and just saying it. It's kinda like name calling. So remember that! And on Friday, they do Fish Friday at the McDonald's center and it's NOT actually McDonald's. And also inside the church, they have cookies, coffee, lemonade, and water every Sunday! So come down...
