I would read everything I’ve written below before trying to buy singles from this store… *(Future edit after employee’s response): You want to reply and say I’m butt-hurt about your pricing? Well here, I’ll attach a picture of what TCG has as their “Near Mint Market Price” ($119.44). You said it was $180 based on just looking at a few recent sales, not knowing anything about those particular sales. I wasn’t mad you weren’t giving me the “Lightly Played” price, as that would have been $70.35. The actual price number makes no difference in my review, it was your rudeness (compared to the pleasantry of the first guy), and how you were literally factually incorrect. If someone came and tried to sell you this card, you would look up the market value on TCG for Near Mint condition, which would have been ~$119. You would not have told them, “actually since some recent sales have been higher, I’ll give you $180 for it!”. C’mon man, you’re not even being logical. My original review follows: Man this hurts that I have to give a 1 star poor review… I’ve been to every card store in the city, and have friends at nearly all of them. When I first walked in here it was great - great selection of sealed products along with singles, and the only employee behind the counter was super nice/friendly (had a hat on), and I had a great conversation with him as I picked out about 3 or 4 cards that I told him to put aside for me while I looked through their binders. After I finished looking through the binders, it was literally like I was in a completely different store. The original friendly employee was gone, so I went to the counter and told a now new employee that the previous guy was holding a few cards for me. Well, not only did he not know, the cards were back in the display case for anyone else to buy. A little strange, but ok all good. I asked what the price was for Sylveon EX RC32 (TCG had it at $118.22 at the time). I saw him pull up TCG’s website, but he didn’t look at the near mint market price number - instead, all he did was look at a few of the most recent sales (knowing nothing about the details of those sales), and said the price was $180… like, what??? Over $60 more than what TCG has priced the card? I was obviously shocked to hear $180, so I told him how I thought it would be more around $118-120 based on TCG (not in a mean way or in a negative tone). His response (not exact quote, but something like this), “well I’m me and I’m saying it’s $180”. I said alrighty have a good one, and walked out. I was about to present some great cards to trade, like the Charizard ex SIR from 151, among others… but I’ll take my business elsewhere if that’s how I’m going to be treated. I should have asked where the original employee was, and let him tell me what the price of the Sylveon card was (I guarantee he wouldn’t say $180, I mean this is the highest price that card has ever been at $118… how could it all the sudden be $180?). Walked out really pissed off to be honest, because my wife really wanted that card and I wanted to get it for her. I’m not sure what was wrong with employee #2 today, but because of him, he will not be getting business from me, or my wife (and that could have been a lot of business). And I’ll be telling others about this experience as well. Unfortunate.

BEWARE!!! Never buy from these scammers. Will steal your money! Never deliver or ship out products. No customer service at all. Used to recommend them to all family and friends. Now avoid like the plague. Unless you want your money stolen and no response from business. After 20 to 30 email the will pretend to care and offer refund and will nee hear from them again. Save your money and shops else where. They don't deserve a penny of your money. They steal money and no regrets. I hope Karma comes back 100x fold! Based on online reviews, TCG District appears to have significant negative reviews regarding their online operations and customer service, particularly concerning pre-orders. TCGDistrict has received numerous negative customer reviews regarding pre-orders, shipping delays, and customer service. Many customers have reported issues with pre-orders not being fulfilled, receiving incomplete orders, and experiencing difficulty getting responses from customer service. Some customers have also reported being charged for items that were never shipped and facing difficulties getting refunds. Customer Complaints: Pre-order Issues: Customers have complained about pre-orders being delayed for extended periods with little to no communication from TCGDistrict, according to some Reddit users. Shipping Delays and Lost Orders: Many customers have reported long shipping delays, with tracking information not updating, and some even reporting their orders never arriving. Poor Customer Service: Customers have reported difficulty getting in touch with customer service, with some even being ignored or blocked after complaining, according to some Reddit users. Refund Issues: Several customers have reported issues with getting refunds after orders were not fulfilled or were damaged, according to some Reddit users. Scam Allegations: Some customers have gone as far as alleging TCGDistrict is a scam due to the issues with pre-orders and customer service, according to some Facebook users.

I preordered the Glory of Team Rocket booster box, and they stated it would ship out the week after release — which should be this week. However, I’ve tried reaching out to them via email and social media, and I’ve gotten absolutely no response. At this point, I’m honestly starting to wonder if they even have the product, or if they’re just holding back stock hoping to flip it at higher market prices instead of honoring the preorder prices. Lol. (Edit for their reply):Funny thing that they said they would reach out, I tried to contact them for the last 4 days with 3 different email and tried all their social media. Absolutely 0 reponse lol. And they did not sell it at market high when I purchased it, the market right now is about 200 CAD after tax. And my cost is 666 for 4 boxes, which is 166.5 CAD. For the 3 email address and all the emails I sent, they only replied the one I want to cancel my order. And they replied that one quick lol. Claimed that ' they did not see the other emails'. The worse thing is now they want to charge me 5% more for the refund when the refund policy stated that delayed pre-order will get 100% refund. And when I asked them about it, they refuse to reply my email again. Call you bank and dispute pre-orders with them, Absolutely scam store, and 0 customer service.

I have been emailing you on my Destined Rivals product that I have pre ordered from you a while back 0 response you say you respond to many emails but it seems you only respond back when it matters and your ratings tank. You need to get your customer service up to speed clearly you been in this game a long time. But doesn't seem like it. It's been over a month still don't have a reply back. Literally no excuse either hire more or I'll charge back everything. There's a reason you have a streak of negative reviews coming in now. You neglect your online presence. Also you disabling comments on your social media clearly indicates something very fishy is going on. Everyone BEAWARE of this company.

5/28/2025 Update: They still have comments off the website is down can't contact through email. It's starting to feel like these people are just Scammers be warned!!! I'll update if they decided to ship Destined rivals so far no update on orders.

Screw them time to charge back DON'T EVER SHOP HERE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED SCAMMERS ARE RUNNING THIS COMPANY.

5/31/25 Update: So I charged back have evidence of them never replying or informing us when we would receive the product. They immediately cancelled my order and didn’t refund so 100% going forward with sets etc. DON’T buy from them regardless if you think it’s a good deal or not.

The owner and customer service will only reply when it’s too late or to their own benefit putting profits and their image first. Instead of the customer read the reviews below of the owner making excuses wrong email etc. I encourage those who have bought from them good or bad to review also. Don’t stay silent let others know of the scam companies out there.

6/12/25: I see they sold out on the new set BWWF. I suggest you send a email out and see how long they take to reply that should give you an answer. Good luck and know your banks charge back day limit is mines is 120 days.

7/22/25 Final Update with Disputes and to give people a heads up ** This company does try and say they delivered said product So be ready to keep calling your bank don't allow them to make up a lie. Luckily I won my case and the bank gave me the money but I'm pretty sure these crocks keep...
