Hands down the worst lounge I have ever been in. United should be embarrassed that this lounge even exists👎. It is a dump.

Staff are nice but everything else is dated, stuffy, grungy and crowded. You honestly feel like you are in a 1970’s subway station. Not being inside the lounge out in the terminal is honestly better than being inside the United Club lounge.

If you have an American Express Card just head to The Centurion Lounge (which is a 5 star lounge) Do Not waste your time going to the United Club on Concourse G.

Once you enter and get scanned in the staff invite you to walk down two flights of stairs. There is an option to take an elevator but this wasn’t offered to anyone I saw check in.

Once down in the “lounge” it is exactly like the photos attached to my review except add a musty smell and humid stuffy shoulder to shoulder traveller vibe with no windows or outlooks to anything other than tan and brown dated decor.

With this vibe the bar is basic but there - host friendly enough. Food bar is pretty basic and overall vibe is dismal.

Look at my photos and the other low reviews. I think some of the higher reviews are getting confused with other lounges. United - this lounge makes you look bad and makes loyal customers of yours - especially for an international lounge….feel like you absolutely don’t care.

I walked around this lounge and remembering I had passed a Centurion Lounge took the attached photos and...

Update the place has gotten much better as far as the food it’s still super ghetto but getting better they are trying

The worst. The most pathetic lounge I’ve ever seen around the world. Subpar and low class but worth the $ just for a bigger chair.

Paid $59 for a comfortable seat after flying over 25 hours. The chair was worth it...

The food was the most low quality thing I have ever seen.

Would you like some gas station burritos in a metal tin that are still in their plastic, kind of like 7-Eleven style? How about some macaroni salad in plastic? Guess they ain’t trying to save the planet.

There is a metal tray with string cheese laid out, and when you enter the food area there is a tower of Styrofoam cup of noodles to greet you. Just no effort on behalf of united and SFO.

There is no staff.

If you travel anywhere in the world every lounge will be better than this. They will always use Covid as an excuse for being so lame, but the food effort and overall presentation is a total fail.

Update I was just in Guadalajara Mexico. Had a three hour delay. Decided to check out the lounge. $30, has its own security and you can check your bags there, full staff that brings delicious food and cold beverages. The United States has gotten very used to providing the worst airports in the world. It’s hard to believe that the worst lines, the worst service, the rudest people and the most in efficient immigration lines are in the...

Overall a pretty good experience. I think that the lounge was quite clean, both in the lounge area and the bathroom. I witnessed multiple staff that went around picking up dishes, glasses and cleaning the place. Therefore, it felt pretty clean and neat.

The staff was also pretty friendly, although I never went to the bar so I didn’t have any contact with the bartender. I can only speak for the rest of the staff. Especially a lady that cleaned the lounge area was really sweet and polite.

I think that the variety of food was pretty good too. There was mostly cold food, but there was an option for hot food also. However, there weren’t multiple choices when it came to hot food. That doesn’t bother me at all, but I believe that some people can be bothered by the lack of options - especially if they don’t like the hot options. You could also chose to have snacks, cookies or brownies which I think is a nice touch. There was also multiple things to drink: water, soft drinks and alcohol. I didn’t order any alcoholic beverages, but I tried the soft drinks. I didn’t really like any of the soft drinks I took, because it tasted too much chlorine for my liking. The food, however, tasted good in my opinion and I’m just overall satisfied with that.

I was a little unsure about how much stars I would give this lounge. But in the end, I think it’s worth four stars because I think it was quite...
