I stayed here twice, 2 weeks and 5 weeks due to visiting family within 6 months. Front desk does not tell you house keeping is only upon request. The bathroom mirror says every other day, not true. Shower is weak. Glad it has laundry. Again, they don't tell you where if you don't ask. They don't give you fish washing detergent if you don't ask. Towels at the pool does not get filled daily. Get it at the front desk before you go. Internet is unstable for a few days, front desk tells you to call the help desk. Then helpdesk tell me to turn off VPN so they can give me free wifi. No security no thanks. When there is no breakfast, they don't always have a sign up. Housekeeping standard is low. They do not clean stove top or mirror unless you tell them to. That's hit or miss even if I note it on my request and requested the front desk to let management know. You ask...why do you stay here? Location, the pool, Hilton gold member. I do what make sense to be close to family. I would have stay at Marriott brand if residents inn has an indoor pool for the kids.

Hotel staff should not barge in at 10 AM without knocking and asking what time I will check out!! It's conveniently located by the US 101. There are nearby cafes but you would not be able to cross the highway to get there because of the fences and concrete barriers. The front of the hotel is not pretty at all but once inside it's quite pleasant. Rooms are modern but small. Furnishings are newish but their large size makes the room feel really tight. The bathroom is one of the nicest designs I've seen in a Hilton brand but that noisy, loud bathroom fan cannot be turned off. The thermostat in my room was out of order and never fixed during my 5 day stay, and most of the channels on the TV had no reception (due to ongoing disagreement between Disney and DirecTV). Breakfast buffet was very good. Parking is in the back, and it's also very tight. I noticed this place did not have any evening reception like other Homewood suites, which was a big letdown.

First issue was stained carpets. Rooms should be presentable and clean. Second issue, we discovered after day three, is you have to request housekeeping, and at that point they have 24 hours to respond. The trash cans are too small for a family of three. Third, I believe they are keeping horses above our room, as there is constant stomping and running. Fourth, as someone else mentioned, you do hear a lot of noise from the 101 north depending on your room location. Fifth, the road in front of the hotel is awful. There are patch jobs on top of patches. Sixth, the parking is for only compact cars. Even in a ford explore, the parking was very tight.

I am writing on behalf of several colleagues of mine. Most importantly to Ladies: stay away from this hotel. There is a Cook named Enrique who enjoys staring at single women during your breakfast at the Dining area. Sometimes when he can see that you are all alone without a partner, he approaches you so quickly with his head into your chest and walks away like nothing happened. Total of 5 women have experienced this sadistic, sick and deliberate act of his behavior. It is posted on most of the Silicon Valley Company websites. Please share this with as many people as you can. Because, the senior management as well as Hilton Honors's executive office have done nothing about it. The manager of this hotel Debbie considers this as feedback and nothing more. This Psychotic Enrique continue to work here. The rooms are not clean. There are no fruits served at this breakfast. No Nonfat milk! And, there is always coffee been pieces in your coffee cup. Your bill is almost always inaccurate. One lady received 11 inaccurate Bill. And, at the end they did not want to fix it and blamed Hilton for it. She demanded a hand written Bill to finally get a correct Bill!!!!!!! This does not happen in Motel 6 right next to this hotel!!!! For this happening at Hilton, it's outrageous. Lastly, there are cameras in this hotel's garage. But, if your car is damaged by another car in the garage or someone vandalized your car, the Manager Debbie never releases that to the Police. If she does, she'll omits the part that your car had this incident. At the end She accuses you for causing the damage to your own car. JUST STAY OUT Of THIS HOTEL!!!!! HILTON HON HONORS HAVE DONE NOTHING ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More information coming to me about this corrupted hotel: There are not enough parking spaces to park your car. About half of the hotel guests have to park on the street. One guest had to park about 1/2 mile away from the hotel in the rain!!!!!! when arrived and asked to cancel the reservation and be compensated, the hotel refused to honor the request. There is usually no hot water available. The Manager Debbie never apologizes for this, she only claims that you are reporting a false issue. The washer and Driers have been out of order for over a year. Only one of them has an out order note on it. One guest had to take her wet laundry to an outside nearby laundromat to dry them. At breakfast, Milks are usually spoiled. You’ll find out about them after you have poured them on your cereal. There are usually no fruits for breakfast, if they are rarely found, they are all spoiled fruits!!!!!! The yogurts seem to have good expiration date on them, but as soon as you have one you’ll find out that they are spoiled too. Most outrageously, if you talk with your cell phone in the Lobby they call the police on you and ask you to leave!!!!! They cancel your reservation and say that you broke the hotel policy, therefore you have to leave!!!! Lastly, this hotel is responsible to report your amount of stay to Hilton honors so you can receive your reward points. But, if they don’t like you or you have addressed even one little concern, they do not send your amount of stay to Hilton so you won’t be able to receive your points. You end up calling Hilton’s customer service and stay on the phone for hours on end and still you cannot resolve it. Even if you call the CEO’s office, they make false promises that they will take care of your points, but they never do it. JUST STAY OUT OF THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There may be an action law suit soon against this hotel and Hilton. If you had problems you’re welcomed to join the lawsuit. You’ll be contacted if you post your email here at this...

SOMEBODY ELSE IN OUR ROOM!!! ROOM STUNK OF DOG!!!

We checked in and put our stuff in the room, used the room and then went to our eldest sons appointment at UCSF then out for the evening. We came back really late at night and our room key would not work. I left my wife with four sleeping children, all under 7, the children in their pajamas in the corridor to check with front desk why our card wouldn't work. For a reason that both Homewood Suites and the Hilton group cannot explain when we left for the evening somebody had taken some of our possessions out of the room and given the room to someone else.

The rest of our items are lost by the hotel and never have been returned. We also have not been compensated for these.

On my return from front desk I had to tell my wife who now had crying children in the corridor and the people who got our room coming to the door, that for some unknown reason the hotel had put another guest in our room. We had to switch rooms and it was now about 1am. The new room was a disabled accessible room that stunk of dog and we have pet allergies. There were no other rooms available at 1am for a family of 6 so we had to stay. Had a miserable time taking our eldest son to the zoo the next day. This was due to us having stuffy noses and lack of sleep. We cancelled the rest of our trip and went home.

The first night stay was refunded. But this was truly horrendous experience. No explanation was given for what happened. I emailed Hilton Group on August 2nd 2020. I had not received an explanation for some time so called Hilton group and was offered 2 free nights stay while on the phone. However there was still no explanation. I asked Hilton group to investigate this as I had lost trust in their brand.

They got back to me on August 24th.

They have no explanation for what happened and say it was a mistake.

Despite me advising front desk staff at the hotel of the missing items. Hilton group advised their hotel did not make any record in my case of missing items, that they do their best to return missing items left behind by owners and suggest I contact the hotel again. However these items weren't simply forgotten by me. I left them in a room I was checked into and knew exactly where they were. The hotel then gave my room to someone else, some items were removed by unknown persons and the rest are missing. Hilton group just directs me back to the hotel directly on this issue and is taking no responsibility for this.

Hilton group then offers a one night stay at any hotel in a standard room. Previously they had offered two nights but looks like that is rescinded after their "investigation". I emailed Hilton on August 25th to advise the problems are not resolved and to date they have not replied, it is now September 19th.

Not only was the stay bad enough, but the Hilton Group Customer Services resolved nothing:

No explanation for what happened and hence how they'll stop this happening to someone else in future. Items still lost and nothing done about it. 1 night complimentary stay for a standard room, we have a family of six which usually means a suite so I'll not use it for the family and don't plan to use it even if they send it. I've no indication another stay at Homewood Suites will be any better and thus because of the lack of answers by Hilton Group about my valid complaint in future I plan to avoid the entire Hilton group where possible. (Unfortunately however not all hotels offer rooms/suites to accommodate a family of six)

Hilton Group seems to have missed the complete point of why I brought this to their attention. I don't want this to...

EVERYONE MUST READ THIS!!!!!!!!! on behalf of my friends and relative and colleagues this was a horrific experience- The manager Debbie is so dysfunctional and dishonest- the hotel staff are pretty dishonest too- If you check in this hotel not only you lose your belonging you end up losing your all your already earned reward points, because, The manager Debbie will ask the Tech person to hack your account to lose your already earned points so you won't be able to stay at this hotel for free- Hilton will do nothing for you – They even hack this review page so your bad review won't show up- Many people have placed many bad reviews here but none of them are showing up- All the good ones are fake or from their friends- The breakfast taste awful- the orange juice taste sour and is expired- The milk is usually expired too- There are no fruits- The sausage is either over cooked or it is still frozen and not cooked well- The coffee is filled with pieces of coffee bean- The laundry machines are always out of service with no notes on them- there is no hot water - you have to wait a long, long time to be able to take a shower- The computer center is always not working- if it does, they retain a copy of your prints- people's bills are always wrong with numerous discrepancies- If you complain, they come up with false accusations about you and ask you to leave! they even call the police on you late at night and come up with false accusations that you were making a lot of noise Which actually you were sound sleep- The police did not even apologize for doing that, because the call came from Hilton and it was their duty to respond- Bottom line, you'll be in hell once you check in this corrupted place- Get out as fast as you can and spread the word to everyone that you know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
