Big 5 Sporting Goods — Attraction in San Diego

I can always count on my neighborhood sporting good store for soccer and baseball needs for my grand kids 👧🏻 🧒🏻 👦🏻. Big 5 right around the corner from my home. I usually find good deals on cleats and other accessories for each sport.

This location seems to have a good stock of everything. Sometimes racks are cluttered, shelves and racks are too close to one another, and shoes racks/tables are messy. Walking into the store, as I pass the register area, I feel racks galore. Perhaps, re-organization of racks and create more space between them will appear not so overwhelming to customers.

Staff at register are friendly and staff on the floor are helpful. I’ve always had good experiences shopping at Big 5 on Saturn Blvd.

It’s Thursday, April 14 2022. It was approximately 11:33 when I left the store. I was ignored from the second I walked in to moment I walked out. When I walked in There was young lady fixing apperal never acknowledge me, saw me, but never said hello, welcome, do you need help, I turn to her she looking at me like Im gonna still something. I went in to get some weights and with an attitude and employee walked in front of me asking if she can help me, I asked a price and she told me to take out my phone and do the math that I could do it on my own, I then asked about some accessories she told me to go online and look for it myself I told her im not confident on technology and then she told me that the only way I can know prices and the items that the store has, very rude tried to make me feel uncomfortable and not wanted to answer non of my questions, at the end I went to another location and buy the items...
