Civita Park playground — Attraction in San Diego

Super nice, but not sure why they build playgrounds without more sunshade overhead. It’s San Diego it’s going to get hot most of the year and with babies/young children it’s hard to keep hats on and sunscreen isn’t even supposed to be used under 6 months. Also not to mention slides and climbing equipment get super hot in the sun.

Just please put larger sunshades overhead of playgrounds! This place has some small coverage but like 70% is uncovered.
