Lash Lift San Diego ️ — Attraction in San Diego

This was my first time doing a lash perm/brow lamination. Booking was convenient and the lash tech, Danielle, was very nice. It's a smaller studio, which is comfortable and also ensures that the ratio of clients to techs is not more than 2:1. I am taking off one star due to the lack of information on the website/not explained by the tech.

I wish that the website had more information about the process and after care, especially for the lash lift. I told the tech that this was my first time doing a lash perm. I really would have liked if she would have walked me through the process before we started. During the lash lift, there were pads on my eyes for the entire time, so my eyes had to stay closed and there were a few times where the tint or perm had to set, so I was sitting still with my eyes closed for ~15min. I understand that most people would just nap during this time, but I am not that type of person and sitting still with my eyes closed for this long was challenging, so I would have liked to be warned about it ahead of time. After the lash lift/brow lamination, you also have to avoid getting your face wet for 24hrs afterwards - this was not explained on the website and I would have preferred to know in advance so that I could have planned my workouts/showers better. I also read online afterwards that it's a good idea to apply lash conditioner after the lift has set to make sure the lashes don't get brittle, so I ended up ordering lash conditioner the following day. Original review (5/7/24) My lashes are straight and grow downward so I kept my expectations realistic. But after my very first lash lift, they look naturally curled and lightly mascara'd - an ideal everyday lash! Sara helped with an issue outside our control during my first appointment, and I felt just so taken care of 😭 She is such a professional but really all the lash techs seem to know what they're doing! They keep the line of communication open - so the little survey email they send you after your visit? Reply to that email with your concerns/compliments so that everyone walks away happy. Trust me, they want your service to work out. I'll be back next time I'm preparing for a trip or wanna be low-maintenance for a chunk of time. Again my lashes are straight, strong, and downward-growing so I'll update with how long the lift lasted, but as of this week, I'm surprisingly happy with the end result! Late update: At 8 weeks (photo w/ one eye 7/8/24), some of my lashes were still lifted but mostly straight. I first started to notice them "falling" around 6-7 weeks. I only remembered to update this review because I was remembering how much I enjoyed the long period of time going without curling + mascara! About to book my next appointment for the holiday season :)

I’m not one to write bad reviews but this place genuinely deserved it. I’ve been now three times for a lift and tint. The first two times were with the same person and I wasn’t happy, but I wasn’t unhappy with how my eyelashes turned out. My most recent appointment was with the owner of the company. She was a nice conversationalist, but then left for a while to go attend to someone else in the lobby and while she was gone my eyes started burning so bad. She came back after 10 minutes of my eyes burning and when I asked her to help she put a little water in which made it worse. I had to convince her there was stuff still in my eyes and when she looked there was a ton of tint in my eyes. I could see the black when I opened my eyes. She got it out and I left shortly after. When I got home I looked in the mirror and my eyelashes were SO over processed. They basically curl in a circle and it’s been like that for almost a month and using castor oil everyday. I’m going to another place to see if they can fix it, but I’m getting comments from people that my eyelashes look funky. I only got a lift and tint.
