Lets Relax Spa-san diego — Attraction in San Diego

Best last-minute decision to get a massage ever! I called just after 5 p.m. after perusing Yelp reviews and decided to ask for availability. I got set up for a 7 p.m. appointment for my wife and me for a couples massage. After getting there, we looked at the options and quickly chose the 90-minute massage with hot stones.

We have frequented other spa places to which we were return customers for years, but sadly, we've had poor experiences for the last several visits. I'm glad we did because it led me to find this gem! It is only a few minutes away from our house!

Skip to the massage...we were led to a room where we were given the typical undressing instructions. The room was long, so my wife and I were not side by side but head to head with ample space around. Our therapists stepped in and got to work! We both asked for deep tissue/hard, and that's what we got. Mine may have been breathing as hard as me, working the knots out of my back, shoulders, and legs. She started with compressions and went full send on the back of my neck to the base of my skull piece til I saw rainbows underneath my closed eyeballs. Tiny little thing she was, but she was mighty. I think I even said she's strong, and she said, "I know," lol. The rocks came out, and I got a massage with those, which felt amazing! My first time, so I didn't know what to expect. Eventually, the flip and she continued on my face, chest, shoulders, arms...just the works. My wife got a great massage too, but this is mainly my review. We will be back, maybe even more frequently than our last spot, because IT'S CHEAPER!!!

We had Jessie and either Winnie or Ninnie (I'm not quite sure, sorry). They were both professional and constantly checked to see if the pressure was fine and how we were doing throughout the experience. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! Wow. David gave me the BEST massage I’ve ever had. I had painful knots in my back, neck and shoulders and I asked him to focus on those areas. It hurt but I gritted my teeth and let him work through them. I was literally kicking as he was massaging me. He did check in several times to ask if I’d like him to go lighter but I told him no. The next day, I felt like I got beat up. I was exhausted. But the day after, I feel 100% better! I can move without pain for the first time in months. I’ve already scheduled another appointment with him. Can’t wait for him to fix me! He doesn’t speak English so we used his phone to translate. I didn’t mind but just a heads up if that would bother you.

The space is clean, bright and lots of parking. Bonus is there’s a yummy tea spot right next door for a post...

The neighborhood caused me to be very vigilant and I was a little concerned by the safety of my car during the massage.

There was a language barrier that was overcome. We had a couples massage and my wife and I were very pleased. The value of the massage versus the price we paid was very good.
