Liz's Flowers — Attraction in San Diego

My friend is currently at Kaiser Hospital on Zion Avenue, and I was looking for a nearby florist who could deliver flowers the same day. Many of the "recommended" florists in San Diego were quite expensive, and honestly, I didn't think the arrangements matched their prices.

After some further research online, I discovered Liz's Flowers, which is conveniently located right across the street from the hospital! I spoke with Liz, and she was wonderful. Check out her website; she has beautifully arranged flowers at very reasonable prices.

What really stands out about this floral shop is that Liz will send you a photo of your arrangement before delivering it. Unlike other floral shops I've dealt with in the past, this practice helps ensure that the arrangements meet your expectations. I have had many disappointments with different florists, but Liz reassured me that she wouldn't disappoint and she sure didn't!

She completed the arrangement in less than an hour and delivered it the same day. When I saw the arrangement, it brought tears to my eyes because it was absolutely beautiful! We recently had our wedding at the Humphrey’s Half Moon Inn and we had Liz Flowers be our florist. From the beginning Liz has been involved and available to answer all of our questions. We went with a tropical theme, which we were told is the most costly. Liz still went above and beyond. When we arrived to the church, my bouquet was so beautiful. My daughter and Matron of Honor had her their own bouquets, and they were stunning. We also had corsages and boutonnieres for our family. When we arrived to the reception, the centerpieces and sweetheart table were stunning, we were speechless. There were so much vibrant colors. Birds of Paradise was one of our main themed flowers, and they aren’t the easiest to mix with other flowers due to their spikey like nature. But, Liz made them look so elegant, tasteful and unique. She also added the most beautiful flowers and palm leaves to the cake. We had a beautiful venue but the flowers really elevated the place. Pathetic service and unprofessional staff. I placed an order for two bouquets and made it very clear—multiple times—that they needed to be delivered before 2:30 PM since the recipient would not be home after that. The person taking the order assured me it would be done.

The next day, I followed up and was again told "midday," and I repeated my request to have them delivered before 2:30 PM. They again promised. At 2:30 PM, I called—no response. I sent a text—no response. An hour later, I finally got a call from the driver saying the flowers were just left at the porch.

When I called the shop, instead of apologizing, the lady had the worst attitude, arguing with me whether the recipient left at 2:25 or 2:30. Telling me she is not sure what time the driver left the flowers at the porch

This place does not value customers, does not keep promises, and shows no accountability. if no one is answering, why the hell you guys took my number, you should have called that no one is answering. Save your money and go to a florist who actually cares about service. There are tons of...
