While the wine selection leans on the modest side for a place dubbed a “winehouse,” it does feature some intriguing international options. Beer lovers might find the canned selection interesting, though the absence of draft options is notable. The sangria, however, stands out—refreshing and well-balanced, it’s a highlight worth trying.

Cute place, but I wouldn’t go back. I’m pregnant and on vacation with a friend. We stopped by to get a snack for me and a drink for my friend. We asked if the cheese plate contained pasteurized cheeses. I’ve asked many servers at many different restaurants this question since becoming pregnant with no issues. The bartender at Winehouse said she didn’t know whether the cheeses were pasteurized and she said she had no way of finding out. We explained that I was pregnant and so it was important for me to know, but she still wouldn’t help. At that point I decided to just skip the cheese. My friend ordered her drink. Whether it's before and/or after dinner in Little Italy, you'd want to ease into the experience at M. Winehouse for it's cute and cozy environment based in a historic house; original to the area.

I can't seem to find the wines they offer here in other places in and around Little Italy. So expand your wine pallette with unique selections and get cultural with it.

Did I mention they also have Sake and Port? So even if you aren't a wine connoisseur you can bring a date and enjoy some yummy beers.
