I walked in to see if any of the Barbers had availability on a busy Saturday afternoon and Leo told me he would be available in about an hour so to check in on the stand-by and come back at the check in time, originally he could only book me for a haircut but between then and my appointment he texted me and said he would actually be available sooner and be able to trim my beard as well. Very professional upbeat environment with good music playing and pretty much exactly what you could ask for out of a barber experience. He talked to me about my haircut to see how I wanted to style it and was very meticulous about the little details. He edged up my beard like a pro and is very dedicated to his craft. If you’re in downtown and need to get a top quality haircut look no further. Book in advance for a seamless experience and do your best getting there prior to your appointment so your barber can really pay attention to detail without having to rush it makes all the difference trust me. Found this barber shop after my long time Barber moved back to Brazil. Got my haircut by Leo and right off the bat It was an amazing experience. Leo was super detailed oriented. He spoke to me about what cut I was going for and really took the time to understand me/what I wanted. Made the first cut amazing and I kept coming back after that every single time. It's been an incredible haircut.

Last haircut I got I was actually away for a couple months so I wasn't able to come back to him so we hadn't cut my hair in a little bit and it was a little bit off of what I wanted. However, I didn't notice it being a little bit off until I got home. I messaged Leo about it and he instantly scheduled me for the following morning before his appointment started. He got me fixed up in about 15 minutes and out the door ready to start my work day.

I’ve gone to Leo now at this shop for a little over a year now and he’s never disappointed me. I’ve always been very apprehensive about getting any sort of styled cut out of insecurity but Leo has cured that 100%. I’ve gone to him for everything from a beard shave, to trim, to a long hair trim, to completely cutting off my back length hair and every time he’s nailed exactly what I’m looking for. He’s super responsive with appointments and setting them up, extremely polite, friendly, professional, and great at what he does. I won’t go to anyone else in San Diego as long as I live here and as long as he’s cutting hair.

As far as the shop goes, it’s a great atmosphere with talented barbers at every chair. I never see anyone leave disappointed or without a clean cut. The prices are also very reasonable compared to others in San Diego. I cannot recommend this shop to...
