Smile Creations Dental Practice — Attraction in San Diego

It's hard to believe a visit to the dentist could be such a positive experience! Dr. Tsui is professional in every sense of the term, as are her staff. Here's why I'd give Smile Creations more than five stars if I could:

Honesty & fairness: I'd been putting off a visit for too long for fear of getting ripped off like so, so many of my friends in SD. But Dr. Tsui is honest and didn't try to push a sale in the slightest. I only paid for work that had been done, and the bill was itemized and reviewed with me prior to payment.

Technique: Dr. Tsui is very gentle and deliberate with her work. This made for easy, pain-free fillings and cleaning. She works faster and more accurately than any dentist I've been to! A big relief for anyone who "dreads" going to the dentist.

Friendliness: Everyone I interacted with was incredibly nice, friendly, and easy to talk with. Zero intimidation, and they encourage you to ask questions and make yourself comfortable.

Atmosphere: Modern meets zen. You essentially have your own room, instead of being arm's length away from other patients. Covid aside, this made for a comfortable and pleasant experience. Oh yeah, don't forget about the large screens in each room, so you can watch Netflix while you wait. (I'm not a TV fan, but I'm sure most people appreciate this.)

New equipment: Every instrument looked new and modern, and worked well.

Planning: She patiently discussed everything I needed done, what my options were, goals & expectations for dental work, and helped me develop a timeline for when I want to get back in for things like my TMJ and teeth alignment. Far and away the absolute best dentist experience I've ever had.

And honestly, I could go on! I'd certainly recommend Smile Creations to anyone, and will be referring to them as "my dentist" from now on.

Having not been to the dentist for quite a few years (due to an unpleasant experience/treatment at my last dentist, several years of relocating and COVID) I was eager to establish a new dentist with my wife’s referral. My first visit with Dr Tsui’s dental practice couldn’t have gone any better! I was greeted with a friendly staff and Dr. Tsui, all w/ big smiles and joyful moods. The setting was very cozy, clean, and outfitted with all the latest dental technology. Being my first visit, along w the cleaning, I went thru all the x-rays, photos, and imaging in order to examine and baseline the condition of my teeth. Dr Tsui was very thorough in explaining every procedure done and answered all my questions… nothing felt rushed and I have to say, you don’t get that nowadays w how busy doctors have become. Having established abfraction sites on multiple teeth I was slightly nervous about having these sensitive sites touched during my exam/cleaning, but the fact that Dr Tsui was able to avoid them the whole time and caused no pain whatsoever says a lot about the gentle care and precision she provides for her patients. So in a nutshell, my 1st day back to the dentist has been very satisfying and has reset my ease in going back to the dentist! Thanks Dr Tsui and team!! I can actually say I look forward to my follow on visits to address filling of my abfraction sites so I can enjoy ice...

Superb care! My daughter and I was scheduled for a new visit today and we were met with the utmost care that I have ever seen. The front office staff greeted us with care and answered all of our questions right off the bat. When we got inside for the initial x-rays I couldn't believe how clean and welcoming the entire staff was.

Dr. Claudine Tsui also came in and introduced herself prior to starting on the initial x-rays. She me my daughter and I feel like we were one of the regular customers. They addressed any and all concerns that I had and during the check out process they clearly showed me everything that was done even Dr. Tsui went over my x-rays and explained everything that was going.

I also, completed a cleaning, which the technician did a fabulous job! very clean comfortable and enjoyable especially when you get to watch a movie in place of those regular glasses they have these cool movie glasses that shows what every movie that you want to watch.

Overall! this has been the best caring and respectful visit that I have ever had in my 40+ years seeing several dentist. No one compares to Dr. Tsui and her WONDERFUL STAFF! Totally EXTREMELY highly recommended! If you are looking for a great Dentist this will be your family's forever dentist. Much Mahalo's to...
