Falletti Foods — Attraction in San Francisco

The last few times I have gone the staff has been a little on edge. Passive aggressive comments with people walking by entrance and often talking amongst their staff. Have heard them make fun of customers as they walk in/ out on multiple occasions now. It just creates unnecessary stress / possibility of confrontation:

I think everyone is on edge with corvid and it is a way to cope with stress. A us vs them mentality is pretty standard in team building. Just it would be better if it was we are all in this together mindset. the staff plays a critical role in keeping our society functioning and we appreciate that.

End of the day no one likes going to a location to buy a essential need , food, and be mocked by the staff. I don’t even know if they realize they are doing it but the passive aggressive comments have grown exponentially since corvid...

I just had one of the most unfortunate and disgusting experiences at Falletti Foods. Everything was going fine- selections OK etc. But when I got to the checkout stand there was something wrong.

The male cashier seemed to be in a daze, having to price check every other simple item- like pineapples, raspberries, etc..

But the worst part was he obviously had a cold or something and kept wiping his nose with his open hand and then continuing to touch my groceries. No towel, no sanitizer, nothing just his snot all over the groceries. I haven’t wiped down my groceries in years now, but I will be doing so as soon I get home from this visit. And next time I need groceries, I will be going...

Falletti is a high quality family owned grocery store in SF located adjacent to Peets Coffee, and the excellent eateries: Nopalito and RT Rotisserie. I’ve been shopping here for 10 years.

They carry high quality produce and have a terrific butcher and deli. You’ll find high quality conventional and organic foods here and a good wine selection, too. They have everything you need here. What you won’t find is low priced bulk items, but that’s ok. What you will find is high quality and friendly knowledge staff that are consistent.

Downsides are that since they are conveniently located, but small, it can get crowded and the parking lot is also small and shared...
