Upon seeing this waterfall, it is very apparent that it is not natural. I wanted to mention this first as it may disappoint some people (and even disappointed me to an extent), but San Francisco is not exactly known for having waterfalls, anyway. Despite being artificial, Huntington Falls is still quite pretty and fits well with the serene lake setting. The foliage surrounding the fall is what makes it shine, the variety of large plants and blooming flowers making it look like it was taken straight out of a forest. Families and tourists will certainly like it most, as it is very picturesque. If crossing the waterfall via the stepping stones by the bottom isn't enough, you can also ascend the waterfall using the stairs and look down on it. I would be careful, though, as the steps can be rather steep and uneven. If you want to spend more time here, there are a few benches at the foot of the waterfall.

Overall, while it is a "fake" waterfall, it still offers most of the beaty that a real one would have. Why not visit it? You probably don't get to see a waterfall...

This was a great little hike! We are a family of six and we love San Fran but we’re always trying to find something fun that doesn’t break the bank. We started at the Tea Gardens, which I don’t recommend, and looking at Google Reviews we saw this little trip. It’s a really easy paved trail to the falls with stunning scenery all the way there. Once you get to the falls there is a pretty steep trail up. There are several sections and photo ops all the way up. The kids had a blast and my wife and I really enjoyed it. You can rent paddle boats to cruise around the lake if you want. We just stumbled on it, but had we known we would have packed a picnic and made an entire afternoon of it. We probably spent two hours there letting the kids explore and take...

Huntington Falls in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park is a hidden natural gem! We were able to see it while pedal boating This picturesque waterfall is a peaceful oasis within the bustling city. The waterfall itself is stunning, especially after a good rain when it flows more robustly. It's a great spot for nature lovers, photographers, or anyone seeking a serene outdoor experience. Don't forget your camera and comfortable shoes for exploring the trails. Huntington Falls is a must-visit for those looking to discover a slice of nature in the heart of...

It was beautiful. It was inside the Golden gate park. The trekking time was very less. The fall was kinda man made. But it was beautifully made. The view is breath taking. The only concern is they have to make some good setting on the water. The have to make the water smell good. As it was man made the water smell was very bad. It came from the top of the mountain where there was a a small pond with a boundaries in it except for a small space as in a hole from where the water was leaving outside the mountain and falling down to make a beautiful Huntington Falls.
