I have always loved this store and Nordstrom rack services in general. Have been a loyal customer for years now. Recently I had a very bad experience in the store. I just went to return something that I had purchased just 2 weeks back. But it started wearing out within 2 days of using. After speaking and confirming with customer care online who was very respectful and sweet, based on the advice I decided to return in store. After explaining to the store manager, the store manager was horrible and absolutely rude, all she could have said is we normally don’t accept such returns, but we will make this one time exception since customer service agent adviced you as such. She went on to add “but we both know you did this. You must have poked it somewhere.” I explained to her throughout that my concern is not that I received the item in such state and I never said so, but the fact that within 2 days of using an item has fallen into such state is concerning. She continued to insult me throughout very loudly even though I was being polite. I went onto even say please give it back I would rather speak to customer service and get this resolved. She did not give my item back, she said We will accept this return, but we both know you did this damage to item. She was also bold enough to whisper into the employees ear and poke fun and laugh at me, when I kept explaining that I am returning this because of the bad quality.
I am absolutely disappointed in the store and their employees. This is absolutely disgusting behavior especially with easy and...
Read moreTypically Nordstrom is a reliable store that prides itself on customer service. This evening, I found two items that I wanted to purchase. When I got to the checkout, neither item was tagged. The checkout associate asked if I could grab duplicates, to which I easily obliged. Then, the manager, Nicole, walked by and claimed the sweater I was trying to buy, exactly the same as the one with the tag except it was pink instead of white, was not for sale. I asked how that could be when the one with the tag had a sale price. She said there were “a lot of new staff” and that someone must have marked it wrong. I said that sounded like a store problem. She then went on to say that the pink sweater (the one I wanted) was from a different season so it would cost full price if I wanted to buy it (redacting the not for sale bit). I again asked how that could be since it was exactly the same as the white one. She gave me a bizarre reason instead of trying to solve the issue with me so I could make the purchase. I’ve been a loyal customer of Nordstrom because their customer service has been exceptional over the years. Tonight, and ahead of the holiday season, it was not. My hope is that this review is read, noted, and that the problem is looked into and resolved. Additionally, a manager should take ownership and try to solve the problem versus blaming...
Read moreNot welcoming & how I knew this I needed an associate help with my shopped items. I'm disabled & my issue was I had left my Nordstrom's card in a different purse & had to run & get it. So the clerk says he will save it until I returned right in the shopping cart my reply was great (I feel he should of saved it behind the counter but) . So I left & came back to get my things. After waiting in line to hear "Sorry it's not here anymore , he didn't think I was coming back?" He made that decision & this was a supervisor telling me this as she's walking away from me. She said from a distance they were not allowed to save anything anyways! Wow ! First of all, one excuse would have been sufficient, Hearing that I thought, is that even true? Second they could have looked up my account & handled the whole transaction & visit with more customer service involved! They could of offered to help me get the items I had! All in all it was a sad day for Nordstrom's & it's employees. I'm still in disbelief over it. Nothing in that visit was pleasurable. My review is a 2 all the way around. Your management team found it to be okay with a very rude attitude without any example of how customer service looks...
