El Gran Sabor — Restaurant in San Jose

I wanted to love this place. This was my first time trying quesabirria. I thought it tasted okay at the time. Now, I have tried several quesabirria places. I can tell they played me here. The consome was VERY watery. It tasted like they dissolved a bit of beef bouillon cube and added onions and cilantro to it. It was very bland. It also lacked any red color, like traditional consome. The tacos themselves had a good amount of birria but lacked flavor and color, as well. I was expecting to be blown away when I tried quesabirria for the first time. This place tainted that experience. Not sure why it was so bad. Maybe I went on the wrong day. Who knows. Was pretty expensive for a failed attempt at birria.

The cashier was friendly. Which is why I am giving them two stars. I don't think they get much service, though. She was sitting in the corner on her phone when I went up to order. It seemed pretty dead.

Ayer vine y me comi unos taquitos muy sabrosos y bien servidos, pero mire Un cliente muy molesto que orderno antes que yo unas pupusas . Se Avia molestado por que entregaron mi orden antes que la de el . Pero el muchacho que trabaja ahi le Dijo , las pupusas se Tardan 10-15 min por que son echas por pedido las hacen desde abajo. Amigos porfavor 😂ahi que entender es Un restaurant mexicano no Un lugar de comida rapida el señor se molesto por que se tardaron 20 min.
