This Doughnut shop has been in business for as long as I can remember and yet this is my first time in, why? Don’t really know, just never stopped in. As I walked in I was immediately hit with nostalgia, old school booth seating and counter stools!! “So kool” and old clock in the wall “the kind that all diners had in the 70s” and a smell from the fryer’s that I haven’t smelled in year “such great memories” I ordered a Apple Fritter $2 and a decaf coffee $1.50, the Fritter was cooked crispy on the outside and soft in the center “could not ask for anything better” the coffee was smooth and not bitter “ also ver nice” They also serve and array of sandwiches as well as bananas and hard-boiled eggs. This is truly the most lovely place. The husband/wife owners are just fabulous. They remember their customers and their orders and they have A LOT to remember.

The BEST donuts in the bay. Most donut shops do one type of donut well, every donut here is the best version of that donut. I'm particularly fond of the cinnamon twists, maple bars, and cake donuts.

Their croissants are AMAZING! As are their bagels.

Came in Saturday morning and all the donuts looked beautifully fresh. Got a chocolate bar donut that the staff generously filled with (I think) tasty in house custard that wasn’t overly sweet, with a smooth creamy texture, an iced latte that did the job, an apple fritter donut that could use justt a little more apple on the inside and was a bit crunchy from being fried a little too long but was still absolutely delicious flavor wise + pillowy soft melt in your mouth on the inside, and a thick glazed donut with a perfectly flavored glaze and a light but chewy crumb.
