If you are Polish/Russian/Ukrainian you may love it here, it's like entering a black market for goods from that area, they have a collection of hair dye, cosmetics, and hygiene products. We asked if they sell fresh baked honey cake/medovik/smetanik and an employee gave a round eyed look (not sure but it looked like 'why would you look for that here?') and shook her head. It seemed like some people were buying prepared hot food to-go, but we didn't see a sign for it, and didn't want to bother them as they seemed busy, and no one was speaking English. We got some Kabanozy, some convenient uvelka buckwheat and barley bags, and some sweets. They have a huge selection of teas on the wall (in addition to Ahmed and other brands) but other than some that had pics of chamomile or mint, you had no idea what was in it so if you don't have a friend to interpret, you will have to be adventurous. No other store in the area offers such a selection of high-quality products. If a product isn't available at Slavic Shop but is offered at another similar store, you can be assured that the product is of inferior quality, if not potentially dangerous to your health.
I don't understand how anybody can give a negative review...

I had a service dog with me and they are like asking if this is a service dog however you can obviously see it. My dog is sweet and doesn't misbehave. I noticed they spoke Russian to each other about the dog and made faces. They shouldn't be doing this because I did understand than and that's not nice at all. They should be more respectful towards people who REALLY DO need a service dog with them. Three stars only because customer service matters a lot.... And in this store that...
