Capistrano Vacuum and Sewing Center — Attraction in San Juan Capistrano

I found Capistrano Vacuum and Sewing Center earlier this spring while looking for a place to service my 20-year-old Bernina Activa 220, and I'm so glad I did. Larry worked his magic and got my machine running like new again. The service was super affordable, and on top of that, he fixed the handle on my machine. What really stood out was how thoughtful he was--he actually called to check if I'd be okay with a blue handle instead of the red one that originally came with my machine. It's the little attention to detail like that, which really makes a difference. Since then, I've been happily sewing away and the machine has been working great. Most recently I started considering upgrading to a newer machine. I reached out to Larry to inquire about the Bernina 570 QE. Larry's expertise was immediately evident as he explained the features of the 570 QE in detail. He offered me a good deal on a brand-new 2025 model still in the box, and as an added bonus, he threw in a trolley for the machine and even gifted me a few spools of thread. Larry really goes above and beyond when it comes to taking care of his customers and building lasting relationships. It's clear he genuinely cares. I will definitely be returning for all my Bernina servicing needs and accessories in the future....

My wife and I have been looking to replace our Dyson bag less vacuum and my wife has done a tremendous amount of research and determined that the Miele vacuum is among the very best. My wife brought us over to the store to meet Larry the owner and he took us through the differences between all the different Miele vacuums. We ultimately decided on getting the Marin. We have both hardwood floors and some carpeted bedrooms, and this was the best vacuum to do multipurpose. I set it up this morning and started using it on all of our carpets and was extremely impressed with its ability to remove dirt and dust. Extremely well and was very easy to use. I have used this place for about four years for sewing machine servicing and repair. They are super knowledgeable and the price around South OC. They are half the price of Moore's and you don't get any attitude here (even better!). I recently had an old Husqvarna machine die on me and the tech fixed it well enough to do some straight stitches and didn't even charge me the full service fee since it didn't work fully anymore.
