There are a number of bronze statues of US Presidents represented who visited the island after the Spanish-American war ended in 1898. There are nine presidents and I chose two take the picture of President Dwight Eisenhower who visited in 1960 and who also the Supreme Commanding General who some would say won the war against the Germans and Italians in Europe. It is a line of president statues on the sidewalk and plaques in order of presidents who have visited Puerto Rico. The plaques have information about them as a president and then about their visit.
