We were recommended this place by some locals. They said the drinks are good and relatively inexpensive. We went and ordered two Piña Coladas with double rum. Normally a Piña Colada is $7 without rum and $9 with rum so we assumed that the price would be something like $11 or $12 for the double rum. When the bill came they had charged us $18 for the two Piña Coladas plus another $14 for the double rum.
When we asked why, they said that it was because a shot of Don Q is $7 so double rum in two Piña Coladas would be an additional $14. We felt this was a bit deceptive and told them that. Eventually after some back and forth they took $5 off the bill making 2 piña coladas $32 which made them some of the most expensive piña coladas we have had in a week here in PR.
I do also have to admit that miscommunications aside, the piña coladas were very good.
On a final note, both the server and the manager handled this interaction very well. They remained calm and did not get angry and were both very reasonable and...
Read moreI waited at 4pm Saturday, as the restaurant was at 40% capacity, 30 mins for the lady at the bar to pour me 3 drinks. We were the ONLY customers at the bar asking for drinks at the time. She made each margarita one at a time, & in preparation socialized, checked her phone, & cleaned as me & my party stared at her fumeing.
One lady felt bad for us & gave us a free shot, since the lady was even cleaning barware between making the same drink as if she was going slow on purpose.
While waiting, several customers came up & complained that they have been waiting for their food for several hours (at least 3 of them). The owner of this business should fire the entire staff as there is a general culture of purposefully taking far too long alienating return business. Keep the heavy lady behind the bar as she was getting all...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this restaurant by mistake as the original restaurant we wanted to check out was closed. This place was a pleasant surprise. The service, food and drinks were amazing. I ordered the passion fruit sangria and my partner had the coconut mojito. We ended up swapping drinks but we enjoyed both. I had the ribeye with mushroom risotto and it was divine. The presentation was that of a 5 star steakhouse. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the risotto was so delicious we couldn’t stop eating it. My partner got the triple mofongo and it was scrumptious and well seasoned. The portions were large so we ended up taking food home. We will definitely be back to try other dishes and we would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality meal in...
