I’m leaving this review so people will know to check the expiration date on what ever they buy from here. I bought some squid and been sick ever since I ate it . First very bad bubble guts and very bad smelling burps then throwing up and weak so I was telling my daughter my symptoms and what I was feeling then she looked at the squid and it expired way in March. So I went back to tell them to pull all that squid and trash it and they offered me some new squid which I can’t even eat because my stomach is killing me right now. This stuff say March why would they still sell that. First time being in this place and the first impression speaks for itself. As soon I step in the door I look around with my eyes and proceed forward and with my first step I was confronted by the Rita short Asian which I believe is that manager. I really enjoy shopping at 88 Seafood Supermarket in San Leandro and was very impressed with their selection. They truly have a fantastic variety, from live, fresh, and frozen seafood to a good range of meat and poultry. I also appreciate their fresh vegetable section and the wide array of Asian groceries, which makes it a very convenient one-stop shop for many of my needs. While some prices might be a bit higher than other places, I found them to be reasonable considering the quality and convenience of having such a diverse selection under one roof.
