San Marcos loves there nature but hates there people. Water is very blue and park is well managed (litter wise.) however they only have parking for city park and if you walk seconds away to another park, SAME RIVER they ticket you $100 even though there is no parking for the other areas. This is also a college town so broke college kids on financial aid trying to go outside get a $100 ticket because they have no where else to go (it’s a trap) and on top of all of that I’ve seen cars almost getting broken into, and people get there stuff stollen with out the city...
