Very unorganized function. I'm here with my family right now, and I can say we are about to leave after speaking with 5 different people and none can do anything to fix the issue. Thank you to the carnival gentlemen who tried to make it right. He refunded 4 dollars of all our money that wasn't worth spending here. One admission personnel said buy a wristband unlimited rides. So fine we pay the admission. Then we go get our wristbands which we weren't aware has an activation fee because no one said that. On top of that the booth we went to didn't even mention the black wristband was the unlimited admission one. They told us just choose from one of the wristbands and the tokens are for food. Which was completely wrong because the tokens don't exist they don't have any supposedly. They say come back and we will refill it for you. But then our first ride being the pony ride tells us you only have two tokens which you can't really use because you need more. To be honest it's completely not worth it and our party will be sharing throughout Facebook and...
Read moreFun, but way overpriced ($10 for throwing 3 balls at balloons and getting a .50 cent stuffed animal?!?) and the fact that they don’t take cash anymore is the main reason for the two stars. The magic money band system means more standing in line for customers. Half of the kiosks they have out so people can buy cards/reload their old ones were out of order, and the lines for the ones that did work were long. I waited longer in line there than I did anywhere else, and I had to wait in line 3 separate times because that’s the only way you can check how much money you have left on the card. I get they are trying to go touch less for covid, but this new system has people bunched in groups at the kiosks with no way to social distance.
We will not go again unless they start taking cash again. Time is valuable and I didn’t enjoy having to skip time having fun with my family to go stand in line just to be able to put money on the card or check...
Read moreI was almost everything, this becomes over commercialized, overpriced, the quality has gone down. The prices for everything including food, admission, impressing are ridiculous even considering inflation. For those of you that remember back in the day in the 90s and early 2000s it was open grounds and they only charged for what you ate And did in the park. I’m very grateful I got to enjoy that golden era of Sights and Sounds.
This time it was extremely disappointing because we bought “roasted corn“ which had just been boiled and thrown together sloppily.
TLDR: overhyped and overpriced —used to...
