San Marcos Athletic Club — Attraction in San Marcos

I've worked out a lot of gyms since I got out the Army. And may I say that nothing better than a military gym to where u have the freedom to work out any base and branch you want anywhere in the world. Now as a vet, I've worked out at Gold' gym,, Planet fitness, 24 hrs fitness, World's gym, Jims Gym, Family own gym, and even hotel n casino gym. These gyms are really nice and fancy but I just don't get the work out needed when it comes down to it. I think it's the quality of weights and machines. It makes a lot of difference for me. That's exactly I found here in Smac that's why am still on it. Biggest gripe that I have is the men's restroom/locker room. It can get nasty and smelly bcoz of the size. For ~$300 total, you can get a yearlong membership here AND the activity center. Talk about WINNING. That's 2 memberships for less than $30 a month. Use SMAC when needing free weights. Then, use activity center when needing assisted weights or when wanting activity outside of weightroom. (Pool, bball, racketball, aerobics, etc) The times I've gone to SMAC it's never too crowded or loud. Never any problems here. Easy to get-in get-out quickly. Pricing tiers make sense; discount for women. This place has all the right vibes. Obviously it isn't perfect: smells and is a bit small, which isn't for everyone: although some people will love it. Stop paying for contracts you don't need nor do you want! San Marcos Athletic Club has the best pricing around San Marcos! I've been going here for a year and prior to going here I almost signed up with Gold's gym, but the people that work at gold's made me feel like any other person who wants me to sign a contract "evil" at San Marcos Athletic Club it's $2 a day, which is great for me cuz I don't always have time to go to the gym. And if I decide not to go back it's that simple I don't have to try to get out of a contract I don't have to haggle or deal with them I literally just come and go as I please!
