The San Market — Local services in San Marcos

Omg I’ve been waiting for this place to open and it didn’t disappoint. San Marcos definitely was missing a cutsie gift shop, particularly down town. Reminded me of the shop I grew up going to in my small hometown. First of all, it smelled amazing - the array of candles was great. I could tell they really put effort into their selection - they had mostly local/Texan vendors. The shirt selection was also great - I hadn’t seen any of these prints before. They had something for everyone. Super cute and can’t wait to go back. Breath of fresh air...

Such a cute store! I love that they carry work from so many local artists and even give a little backstory. They have a really good selection of products that are so cute, like candles, jewelry, t-shirts, stickers, succulents, and Texas State items. They also have T-Shirts that are original designs about San Marcos--including the one I bought, a Freeman Ranch T-shirt. (if you know, you know) Also, the prices were really good. This is such a fun and unique shop that sources items from the local community and it reminds me of a modern Paper Bear! The owners are passionate about supporting San Marcos and other entrepreneurs and the shop itself is adorable. I am loving how soft, comfortable, and witty the shirts I’ve gotten here are, their candle selection is amazing, and every time I go in I find something I have to have!
