I recently became a member of 24 Hrs Fitness gym after 13 yrs, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this facility based on my experience. There were several issues that made my visit less than satisfactory.
Firstly, the gym was overcrowded, which made it difficult to access the equipment or find a space to work out comfortably. This overcrowding seemed to be a persistent problem, as it affected my ability to fully enjoy my workout and disrupted the overall atmosphere of the gym.
Another notable concern was the lack of efficient ventilation. The air inside the gym felt stagnant and stuffy, which made the workout experience less pleasant. The absence of proper airflow contributed to an uncomfortable environment for exercising.
Furthermore, I found the gym equipment to be dusty and not well-maintained. This lack of cleanliness and upkeep was disappointing and reflected poorly on the overall maintenance standards of the facility. In addition, the dirty floors added to the general sense of neglect within the gym.
The condition of the pool was particularly disappointing. It appeared as though it had not been properly maintained for a considerable period. The water quality and cleanliness were subpar, making it unappealing to use. This neglect of the pool raised concerns about the overall hygiene and maintenance practices within the facility.
Parking at the gym is a nightmare. Most spots are compact, The limited parking spaces available were often occupied, causing frustration and inconvenience for gym-goers. This aspect of the experience significantly detracted from the overall convenience and accessibility of the facility.
Lastly, I was disappointed with the manager's attitude and approach. Rather than prioritizing customer service and addressing the various issues, the manager seemed more focused on sales, which created a disconnect between management and the needs of the gym's members. This lack of attention to service quality and member satisfaction was a significant letdown.
In conclusion, my visit to 24 Hrs Fitness was marred by overcrowding, poor ventilation, dusty equipment, dirty floors, and an ill-maintained pool. The parking situation was frustrating, and the manager's priorities seemed misaligned with providing quality service. Considering these factors, I would not recommend this gym to others seeking a positive and enjoyable...
Read moreIf you’re ever at the gym and get the chance to meet Nick from behind the test area, consider yourself lucky. From the very first time I saw him helping someone out, I could tell he wasn’t just another staff member—he really knows his stuff and cares about the people who come through those doors. Whether you’re new or experienced, Nick has a way of making you feel welcome and motivated.
What really stands out about Nick is his knowledge. He doesn’t just throw around gym lingo to sound smart—he actually explains everything in a way that makes sense. One day I had questions about improving my bench press form, and Nick took the time to walk me through each movement, pointing out what I was doing right and what needed fixing. I could tell he genuinely wanted to help, not just give generic advice.
On top of that, Nick’s energy is always on point. Even on days when the gym is packed and everyone’s rushing around, he manages to keep his cool and stay positive. It’s the kind of attitude that keeps you going when you’re halfway through a tough workout and need a little boost. He’s always encouraging others, whether it’s a fist bump, a quick “you got this,” or just a nod of support.
Nick also does a great job keeping things organized around the test area. The equipment is always clean and in the right place, and he makes sure everyone is being safe. That might not sound like a big deal, but when you’re trying to stay focused on your workout, it helps a lot to know things are running smoothly thanks to someone who pays attention to the little things.
Overall, Nick deserves every bit of this 5-star review. He’s professional, approachable, and clearly passionate about what he does. People like him are what make a gym more than just a place to work out—they make it a community. If every gym had a Nick, the world would be a much fitter and...
Read moreI will add to my review of two years ago to state that there is NO EXCUSE for the pool being closed with zero notification to anyone. I checked the website about half an hour before class today, and there was no indication of a problem. Along with many other clients, I got into my car and drove to the facility, only to discover a sign indicating that the wet area was closed for cleaning. If management had sufficient times to print the signs, they could have certainly cancelled the class on the online schedule. Even the course instructor was unaware. She too arrived believing that she had a pool in which to teach her class. Lame management and general inconvenience for everyone else.
I've been a member for two years and am less than happy with three issues. First, the trash scattered around the enormous parking lot is a terrible eyesore. In addition to parking spaces that are too small, the trash cans are generally overflowing and the pavement and grass littered with additional garbage. Secondly, maintenance is sub-par. A shower in the women's locker room has been backed up and overflowing into the corridor for MORE THAN A WEEK. I know they are aware of the problem because several members have reported it. Eight days and nothing has been done. Thirdly, the person who schedules the aqua aerobics classes is not very capable. We have had some instructors not show because their classes were "cancelled" and others double booked for more than one club location at the same time. It's not cool when 30-40 people show up for a class and find they have no instructor. Management needs to get its act together and correct...
