tldr: Certainly enjoyable—great puzzles, okay immersion, bad service. Just not quite worth the price! More in-depth review of the Horror Circus room we tried, below.
𝗣𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗹𝗲𝘀 We were warned upon arrival that Game Over's rooms are "very high tech" in comparison to other rooms. Although that's just not the case (RFIDs, arduinos, etc are standard in escape rooms) - we did find the puzzle concepts to be unique and enjoyable, and the room was well-paced in terms of puzzle flow. At least one (quite time-consuming) puzzle wasn't quite working properly and reset itself just as we completed it. We later learned our game master could have manually fixed this but chose to make us repeat the puzzle.
𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 Most of the props and elements of the Horror Circus contributed in some way to immersion. The music was creepy with appropriate lulls and peaks that kept us on edge. Unfortunately, a few scenes were severely offset by lower quality props (primarily the jump scares taken right out of the Spirit Halloween welcoming display) which made it harder to 'play along.'
𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 Our game master, Aster, added a lot of frustration to the experience, starting with forcing us to complete a puzzle we (inadvertently and without guessing or brute force) skipped, that ultimately just gave us a clue to the puzzle we already completed. She was quick throughout the game to add commentary over the speakers, which at times came across as snarky.
Clearly, she had taken issue with our group for some reason. After unequivocally costing us time at several points, she informed us we missed the record for the room by seconds. I said, "Aww, if only the _ puzzle had worked properly" and she mumbled something under her breath, beginning with, "If only you had..." I'm sure neither our group nor anyone supervising her would want to know what she said. 😬
I'm sure we'll return eventually to complete the other rooms. I believe with the right game master this could definitely be a...

First off, I do not like being required to surrender my phone. Having done 40+ rooms at dozens of places, I've never been required to surrender my phone and I don't appreciate this not being communicated until arrival. Not on their website, not in the waiver, and not in the email or text confirmations.
The room itself was themed very well, puzzles were nice and somewhat unique (we had no traditional padlocks in our room) which was a big plus for us, though we have seen all the puzzle "types" before.
I think the biggest frustration in the room itself for us was two part. First we were missing a piece of a puzzle that involved matching symbols and we knew and articulated that there was a missing piece. On its own, that's not the end of the world, we've had that happen in other rooms before. But what compounded that issue is that several of the symbols didn't actually quite match up, you just had to pick the closest one. So when you know you're missing a tile AND there's no matching symbol, you skip it assuming it's your missing piece and move on, so we found ourselves going back and forth not knowing what tile was actually missing vs just a symbol that was "close" but not identical which was very frustrating.
So summation: -only go here if you're ok surrendering your phone -assume symbols won't perfectly match -plan on tipping on top of their highest in the...

We just completed another escape room, and while the experience was great, we have to address the pricing. As a family of six, this is the most expensive escape room company we’ve been to—and the only one that charges for our 5-year-old, who simply stands there.
Despite the cost, we decided to give it another shot and booked a second room for $250. Afterward, we wanted to do another open room the same day. They offered a 20% discount, bringing the price to $190, but we asked if they could instead waive the charge for our son, making it $150. The staff refused, insisting on charging for him.
For just $40, they lost our future business—at least $150 that day and a minimum of $600 in future visits. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back.
I'm giving this review 5 stars based on the quality of the room and the games. However, having done around 30 escape rooms in the past few years as a family of six, we’ve never had to pay for our 5-year-old. I was disappointed that we were not only charged for him but charged full price. He doesn’t participate—he’s just along for the ride. With the cost already being high, adding a full charge for a little one feels...
