I went on a whim because I pass by on occasions when going to Whole Foods Market across the street from Pho 24. And unfortunately Whole Foods Market is the only place for parking and probably a 5 minutes walk to Pho 24 restaurant if merely taking your time no problem.
Walking in I did not feel the ambiance...seemed dull and not to appealing. Sat by the window and was kinda unamused with the condiments on the table I was at...my thoughts were I wonder how long these selection of sauces have been sitting in the window on a sunny day...looking dry unwiped and not cleaned daily...paper towel dispenser on table appearing to have months long neglected cleaning...
Other than noticing that....I was surprised with the medium size bowl of beef noodle Pho soup with a side dish of bean sprouts, basil and sliced jalapeño peppers to add to the soup...was impressive, a lot to me for the price I did not think was over priced at all...less than $11. They had brisket, beef fat and some very tender beef in this bowl I had. Was good but broth was very light and brisket little bit tough.
Because of the ambiance I want to try other Restaurants that offer Pho.
Good Luck Patrons and enjoy your...
Read moreWe had a really solid bowl of pho (the P14 option on the menu) here. A very flavorful (I'd say star anise and cinnamon -forward seasoning) and very clear broth anchored the bowl. I have rarely had as clear and flavorful a broth and have almost resigned myself to an opaque broth if it's going to have nay flavor but this one was really sparkling. The herb plate also included culantro (which I never see where I live) as well as basil (with cilantro and onion in the bowl), sprouts, limes, and sliced chiles. I got the fatty brisket, tendon, and flank option and the meat was well done - I could have stood a little more tendon in proportion to the other meat but it was generous and nicely prepared. I would love to come back for a bahn mi based on the quality of the pho, but would have a hard time not just getting the same thing again, it was so good. A small bowl will do you if you have a normal to hearty appetite, a large is...
Read moreI ordered F1 Roasted chicken with rice for $14.99 with extra grilled pork chop for $3 total with tax it came to $19.38. i got there to pick up my food and asked the lady if my pork chop was in the bag also so, she was so passive she said yes and gave me my food. I get to work and look in the bag my pork chop is not in the bag. I called the location to inform them, but the lady became combative as if I was lying. once she realized I was right she stated they could make it for me. I was on my lunch so I couldn't go back. advised that I would be back when I got off work. She called me back to tell me that the price for a pork chop was $7. the fact that this was a dispute was so unprofessional. I advised her that, the issue should be with the person who ever did their website, not the customer. The food is good but not good enough to get robbed. I will no longer recommend...
