There was a problem with an item we bought and we noticed as we stepped out of the store- turned around to ask if it could be fixed or returned and the owner threw the necklace back and rudely snapped it was not bought there. We had to show the receipt and the box AND her own employee testified that we had just bought this necklace. The Owner then told me it was my child’s fault it was tangled, even with the receipt showing it was just purchased and we had only stepped outside and not left the area. The owner further screamed at us to be patient and that I would never get anywhere in life because I asked her to swap the necklace chain instead of tangling it more. She again threw the necklace at us and told us to get out when I told her she could have been polite to us instead of denying a sale she had just made. She further screamed at us to be human beings! Nature’s Own Gallery is such a unique and beautiful shop—it’s a must-visit if you’re strolling the Santa Barbara Wharf! The store is full of treasures from the natural world, from stunning crystals and polished stones to delicate shell art and even real megalodon fossils. You can tell everything is thoughtfully curated, and there’s something here for all ages.

I especially loved the jewelry—each piece felt one-of-a-kind, and many incorporate natural elements like raw stones or shells. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find something special, whether you’re a geology buff, shopping for a gift, or just love beautiful things.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, happy to answer questions about the items and their origins. Definitely one of my favorite stops in Santa Barbara....

I was looking for a few specific pieces to complete a display project. I’ve been looking for several weeks up and down the coast and remembered visiting the store several years ago, I had a great experience then. If you’re in the market for high-quality stones and shells look no further! Their prices are very reasonable their selection is outstanding, and their staff knowledgeable polite and accommodating. Even though the shop Is usually very busy at midday, The staff was patient while I decided on the pieces that would work right. Bravo! It was an outstanding experience from top to bottom.
