Triton Museum is a lovely building with well maintained grounds and out-buildings across Warburton from the Santa Clara City Hall. It is not owned or subsidized by the city. It is one of those rare gems that owns the property upon which it stands. As a consequence, it is a bit like Blanche DuBois - relying on the kindness of strangers, visitors, contributors, patrons of the arts, and likely some grants - in order to present the wonderful, interesting, educational, funky, intriguing, and fun exhibits it curates to the public. There is usually some class being offered - from drawing to art appreciation, as well as docent guided walks through the museum, coffee with the Curator one a month, the museum shop, and the information desk close to the entrance (help is always close!). Always cool inside on a hot day. Interesting acoustic properties in the rotunda. The cleanest bathrooms in the entire city! Courteous and respectul staff. Support the arts! Support your local museum! Have you gone there lately? Have you gone there at all? I bet your kids would love to go to the museum with you. Why don't you take them...

There is no charge for admission. Parking is also free and close by. In addition to the indoor exhibits, there is an outdoor area with sculptures and grassy areas for a picnic on a nice day. It is a nice place to introduce...
