My husband and I had a late lunch around 230p. We were seated right away. Our beverage order was taken within a minute of being seated and brought out promptly. We both ordered a breakfast which was brought out in a very reasonable time, considering there was a large group ahead of us. The breakfasts were very good. My skillet was very tasty and with 3 meats in it, not at all greasy. My husband's biscuits and gravy were equally good. The biscuits were fresh and gravy was not overly salty or gloppy as so many other gravies have been. His bacon was thick cut and delicious and the over easy eggs cooked perfectly. We both had iced tea which was cool and refreshing. Our waiter was very good, we didn't have to wait on anything. Thx Mission Grill, we'll be back again. 3/12/19-Update: My husband and I had lunch here around 1pm. This time I ordered the Special, Shrimp stuffed Ravioli which came with a salad and garlic bread. The sauce on the raviolis was quite garlicky but as I like garlic it was fine with me, however, it masked the shrimp filling flavors which was not fine with me. The filling was ample but the teeny pieces of shrimp were pretty indiscernable(sp?). The garlic bread was good, but not much garlic on the bread, I think it was all in the sauce. The salad was very good and that they put beans, carrot, cabbage, cucumber and jicama in it. The ranch dressing is very good. My husband enjoyed his burger with all the fixins and his salad. He also liked his dressing of bleu cheese. Our waitress was efficient, but no nice greeting or smile during our visit. She did check on us once. Maybe she was having a not...

Update 7/1 - Secret, one of the area's best bartenders can be found here. Arturo, is a magician! He makes the best Old Fashioned. We get one every visit. The other two items we can't resist are the breakfast sausages and the blueberry pancakes. IDK what is in their pancake batter but if you can't finish them, take them home. They warm up beautifully on 50% power in the microwave. ♡☆♡☆♡☆♡☆♡☆ This restaurant is quickly becoming my favorite for a quick and delicious meal. The waitstaff here is GREAT- polite, attentive, and accommodating. I can't even remember the last time WAITSTAFF thanked ME for coming in. We had lunch at the high-end steakhouse in Santana Row on Thursday, and it didn't happen there. Good food - their side salad was impressive. It had fresh mixed baby greens, Heirloom cherry tomatoes, beets, red cabbage, and a sprinkle of marinated red beans. Their Bleu cheese dressing is house made. The corned beef on my Reuben was lean, their fries are to die for. The other side we had was the veggie lentil soup. It was so satisfying, my husband ate only half his meal. The drinks here are quite decent also. The way the waitstaff interacted with each other was also impressive. Everyone seemed to genuinely respect each other. And they all helped one another. I don't know how the manager does it, but s/he runs a well-oiled machine....

I visited yesterday. The food was below average, but the service was absolutely terrible. I ordered a Benedict, but she(the server) confused my order and asked me to choose a side option that comes with my dish. From the options she provided, I selected the soup.

However, when my food arrived, I was given a sandwich instead of the Benedict I had ordered(sandwich was my friend’s order) When I pointed out the mistake, she insisted that I had to pay for the soup! But how is that my fault?? She told me to choose a side that comes with my dish, so I simply picked one. I never actually wanted the soup—I just chose it because she asked me to pick one! I told her to take it back and refused to pay for it.

What happened next was even more frustrating. When she finally brought me my Benedict, she had removed the hash browns and everything else, leaving only the Benedict on the plate! When I asked why, she said it was because I refused to pay for the soup??!!!

Throughout the entire experience, she was extremely rude, and the food itself was below average. Looking back, I deeply regret...

I tried to like this place. Visited twice. First time was bad, the eggs were undercooked, they didn't even melt the cheese over my omelet, and the waiter forgot my coffee until I was already finished. When I told them I didn't want the coffee anymore, they charged me for it anyway! I rated three stars because I wanted to review it again at a later date to make sure my bad experience wasn't just a fluke. Now I know to avoid this place like the plague. I only took 2 bites into the undercooked omelet to find raw mushrooms, undercooked hash browns tossed haphazardly over my omelet, and a suspect liquid saturating the bottom of the takeout container. The waiting staff is nonchalant with the service and the cooks are either wildly incompetent or just do not care about the quality of food they put out (they weren't too busy either time, only 4 or 5 other tables). Long story short, please don't go here. It's overhyped and I paid $14 for what you see in the picture.

3 1/2 stars based on what we had. We had a rib eye(med done),Swedish pancakes, roasted chicken & a cocktail. Let’s go. The rib eye quality was good and prepared spot on, however it lacked the grill effect taste and not enough charring or it could have been because the sauce placed on top should have given an option . The rib eye came with a great salad, but did have a lettuce core mixed in by accident, Swedish pancakes were done right, chicken decent according to party. Service was efficient and patient. Despite the unfortunates, it is still isl a noted place to visit. As always, please post wherever your palate ends up taking you. July 2024 update: Breakfast was plain goodness. Buttermilk pancakes just fluffy and awesome. Crab Benedict and corn beef version benedict was prepared just right. Check the pics . As always, post wherever you end up, especially with family.

I ordered the Country Fried Steak with hash browns and over easy eggs, it comes with your choice of pancakes or toast. I went with the pancakes, they were massive! It was freshly made, surprisingly it was crispy on the outside (was expecting soft) and fluffy on the inside. Very delicious, highly recommend trying it while it is still crispy, after a few mins the pancakes becomes soft on the outside, and the batter starts to stick to the mouth. So enjoy while its fresh! The fried steak was a bit on the salty side but delicious, there was so much food, I could not finish it. We also ordered the fruit crepe, without powdered sugar. Fruits were fresh, crepe was soft and not too sweet, it paired perfectly with the whipped cream and fruits.
