We stopped here because the website looked decent and we wanted good sushi. Our experience was as follows: we entered and were seated immediately during lunch and we were a party of 5. The music was loud and at one point was unedited notorious BIG which to me didn’t send sushi vibes. Other genres included Latin rap, also unedited and so loud we could not hear each other at our table. Our waiter was friendly and quickly took our drink order and returned promptly with our drinks. Refills did not happen however until late into our meal and we had to ask someone who was not our waiter as it appeared our waiter went on break, but we were never told. I ordered the crunch roll and it appears the cook burned the bottom of the panko crumbs and the roll was swimming in salty sauce. The roll also had no wasabi or ginger and was loosely rolled and at times fell apart. I also ordered a baked roll with crawfish and scallops. And it smelled like the ocean, and was clearly not fresh. To avoid food poisoning I avoided this roll and left it. After bringing our drinks our waiter came to take our order. My wife and and son ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl, which our waiter told us they were out of all chicken. This should have been the point where we left, and we had to decided to, until he returned and let us know they were in fact not out of chicken. So against our better judgment we ordered our food. My daughter and I received our sushi about 20 minutes later. We did not receive the 2 chicken bowls for 15 minutes more. My daughter finished 2 rolls before my wife and son received any food. We did not receive an explanation or apology for the food being late. The chicken was so inedible she complained and ensured the waiter knew we didn’t want a discount only to let them know it was inedible. He said they had a new cook, which could explain some of the problems. There were 2 girls dressed in all black sitting at the bar. One stood doing nothing while the other seemed to be on a tablet typing. One of them used the restroom before me. They have 2 single use restrooms that lock. They are very clean, however I noticed the toilet was running when I entered from having just been flushed by the person who left it prior to me entering which was the person on the tablet. The sinks are stone and I noticed prior to washing my own hands how dry the sink basin was before I turned the water on. There was a noticeable difference between the wet and dry stone sink. I am confident this person works at this restaurant, used the restroom and did not wash their hands. This same person instructed the 2 male waiters wearing red shirts to be in the dining area after they snuck around a corner. There was also a man with a baseball cap and goatee standing on the backside of the bar just peering out for the time we were there. They did discount our meal although we did not request they do so. I hope they read this as a wake up call that this could be on kitchen nightmares and all they have to do is start caring or don’t own a restaurant. Is it a sushi bar? Is it a night club? Read moreI really wanted to give this place a go. I searched it on Yelp to see if it was AYCE, which one reviewer simply confirmed "yes." I Arrived no later than 2:10, and was seated at the sushi bar. I proceeded to confirm with the hostess if they had AYCE, and she stoically responded that it ends at 2. I humbly stated to her that I wasn't informed that there was a time limit, and respectfully asked her if I could be accommodated for it. She rushfully went to her register and told me that she couldn't. Now; what peeves me is that there was exactly one party of two in the entire restaurant. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but if I was hurting for business on a hot Summer day, I would give my customer the befinit of the doubt and accommodate them. Most sushi bars serve their lunch special from at least 2:30 to 3:30. Again, I was less than a sixth of an hour's tardy to their infeisable AYCE special, and was given no leeway to give them my at least $40 business; when there was next to ZERO business to begin with. If you take anything from this review, make it the last sentence I just elaborated. Sushi is too expensive to be snooty about. This place obviously needs to go.
Just read more reviews before posting this to Yelp, then Google. No surprise to see "Terrible customer service" in every fourth review. Guess there's a silver lining in that one :)

I turned away 4 wrong orders before getting my actual food, and even then it was incomplete I ended up canceling the rest of my order. I was actually coming to try the all u can eat but when they told me they charged for leftovers I was SUPER amazed never heard such thing in my life, so I decided to place a regular order and that apparently didn’t go well either. At time of check out their system went down and I was forced to wait along with 8 other ppl to pay the tab, when I noticed no cards where being accepted I offered cash and they still stated they could not take it we had to wait, I had my friend fresh out of the hospital for obdominal surgery that was craving sushi with me and she had to sit there cringing since we had to wait till the system came back up to pay, our whole dinner was ruined. Glad at least the food was tasty, but must admit I would NEVER come back to this place. I work retail and know the expectations of customer service when running a business this was just unacceptable and when I thought I was being a bit harsh when judging them the table behind us asked for the manager a lashed out for similar reasons, so unfortunately they need better service to compliment and keep this business running.
