I wrote the following review and was told to contact customer service so this can be resolved. So I did. Andā¦ā¦.. nothing. No response. Guess this family owned company (not sure why that makes a difference) isnāt interested in really resolving anything. Hopefully the BBB can help. I already contacted the American Gem Society to find out Kevins Jewelers doesnāt participate. I am not allowing this kind of money to disappear without holding those accountable.
Absolutely by far the most useless Jewlery store EVER! We spent close to $7000 and two days Later (not even exaggerating) the center stone had fallen out. It was appraised for over $6000. I looked down at my hand to admire my beautiful diamond AND IT WAS JUST GONE. My fiancĆ© felt so terrible we just went to Robins Brothers to get a whole new ring. When At Kevins jeweler purchasing the engagement ring I had purchased a ring guard as well. I had no idea I had options when I lost the diamond. For I hadnāt even had time to insure it yet. So a month later when diamonds started falling out of my ring guard I had had it. I was contacted by the store manager Who verbatim stated āI will fix this, I do not ever want my customers to be unhappy.ā He gave me his employees name and told me to go to the store that they will take care of me. When I got to the store not only was the lady rude and disrespectful she told me it was my fault that the diamond had fallen out because the prong was a tiny bit bent. she took pictures of the useless metal that was now a shell of something greater and send it to her boss. Then kicked me out of the store because I told somebody that was looking to purchase to be careful. Threatened security on me- like I was the crook instead of her and her company. THEY HAD JUST ROBBED ME OF $6500 and change. When I asked her if the Ring guard was my fault too considering the diamonds were falling out of that instead of their terrible craftsmanship. She told me it was wear and tear. THE RING WAS TWO MONTHS OLD. I am a stay at home mom who has carpal tunnel. I can barely move my hands let alone wear and tear anything. I left the store completely mortified and disappointed. My fiancĆ©s now got over $11,000 invested in one good ring that considering the money spent should of been one gigantic rock. Thank my lucky stars we were able to afford the second ring because the loss I felt was like a death. Iāve filed with the BBB and am awaiting to hear if Kevinās has any sense of decency to make what they had done right. Worst part is my Fiance being comfortable with what heās already experienced and not expecting Kevins jeweler to refuse to make good on their product, went and bought my Christmas Present from them. Iām so apprehensive about wearing my diamond earrings now for if something happens Iāll never forgive myself.
For a number of reasons Iād never shop there again. The rude nature of the staff, the theft I feel happened of over $6500 and the sense of sheer disappointment are just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe only reason for a 2 star is for the help i received the day before. But today after a long day of work and an hour drive home I go to my local Kevin Jewlers to pick up my wife's ring, that I bought at a Kevin jewelers just a different location, after it was being resized. Well after being ignored by one employee the other older one half assed greated me. After I gave her the slip or receipt of the day before they both hovered by the computer and tried to find me in the system and asked with attidude what my address was. Once I gave it to them they turned back again and did speak to me for a few mins. One puts the bag with my wife's rings on the counter doesn't even show it to me or even says anything about it just asks for payment. Still not much conversation out of them. After paying and signing I ask a simple question a get a real smart ass answer. I work in customer service and customer/clients are suppose to be treated better than this. After spending my money on my wife's ring and even paying for resizing it kind of makes me think that I bought the ring at the wrong jeweler. Customer service is key to a business on where you deal with the public on the daily. Now when even I do have to go back I'll either avoid this horrible customer service representative or drive to a farther one...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs far as buying jewelry is concerned I know absolutely nothing but what I do know is what I like and the experience it brings me. I was in the market for a 20 year upgrade for my wifeās finger after all itās been 20 years so there has been a series of lost rings and lost diamonds which brings me to the day I found the perfect ring for my wifeās finger 20 years later. Donāt get me wrong I found the perfect ring for her finger 20 years ago but that was 20 years ago and of course time has created many more meaningful milestones that are encompassed in this ānextā new perfect ring I found at Kevin Jewelers. This is real folks, it was magical and just like the first time but 20 years later and she couldnāt have been more surprised in fact she is still in shock. I want to thank the staff at the Valencia CA Kevin Jewelers location and a sincere thank you to Sylvie Jouannic for giving me the warm comforting experience a man needs when purchasing, or in this case repurchasing, the NEXT perfect ring THANK YOU.
