Nuart Gallery — Attraction in Santa Fe

Unlike other reviewers, I have actually bought paintings from Nuart Gallery.

But no more.

The last painting I bought from Nuart was paid it off by electronic bank transfer on February 15, 2023.

On February 16, 2023, I was told, via email by a Nuart employee, that it would be boxed up by Armadillo Protective Packaging in Santa Fe and shipped to my address.

Their exact words: “We look forward to coordinating this shipment soon as soon as Armadillo can build us a box.”

As of this writing on February 28, 2023, it still hasn’t shipped.

When I reached out to Armadillo yesterday, February 27, 2023, they did not have the painting and knew nothing of it.

There were other misrepresentations by Nuart employees, which they artfully characterized as ‘miscommunication.’

I am no longer buying from Nuart and shall not recommend them to others.

I am still waiting for my painting to arrive. But not...

I also recently bought two Kevin Tolman paintings from Nuart Gallery in May, 2023 and had them shipped to DC. I can't begin to state how helpful, patient and informative both Kevin and Juan were thruout the entire viewing and purchase experience; never pushing or hurrying us and providing subjective input and opinions over several hours. The professionally crated paintings arrived several weeks later and now proudly grace our living room...

Nuart Gallery is always one of my favorite stops on Canyon Road. Their selection is consistently sophisticated and engaging, with a focus on contemporary works that feel both refined and relevant. The layout and curation of the space are beautifully done, it’s thoughtful, and inviting. Each show feels intentional and fresh, making every visit a new experience.
