This was a lovely little locally owned coffee shop. The dirty chai latte was good, and the Mexican pizza was the best I've ever had. I love catching places soon after they open and having the opportunity to meet the owner. He was very nice and made all of the food and drinks personally. The interior was clean and decorated with local art, which was cool. I'd recommend getting a sign for parking, because where we parked next to the cafe looked like it was outside a residence. I'd also recommend laminating some menus for inside the cafe and getting reusable utensils and plates. These are tiny modifications, though, and overall, he's off to a great start.

Perfect place to stop while walking the art galleries. Shaded seating areas, delicious lunch options. The food quality was high, and modifications to my order were respected. The only thing that keeps this from a 5+ star review was that when we arrived, the café was crowded, so we asked how long our order would take. We were advised 10-15 minutes. Our lunch order actually took 35 minutes to be delivered. If you arrive earlier or later and it is not crowded, I suspect you'll have an excellent experience. Plenty of artwork and sculptures as well. The staff were very friendly, and apologetic about the wait, which was nice of them.

This place serves up seriously good food. Everything tastes fresh and homemade The prices are surprisingly fair for the quality you get, which makes this spot even more impressive. Add in the peaceful outdoor seating and friendly service, and you’ve got the perfect place to relax after exploring the art galleries or hiking nearby.

If I could give Cafe Canyon more than 5 stars I would! We are regulars and come often. The food by chef Jen is amazing, and the setting is perfect, halfway down Canyon Road. There is plenty of outdoor seating in a lovely garden with fountains and artwork- the perfect place to spend a summer afternoon. But what makes Cafe Canyon stand out is the people. Owner Stu is the most magnanimous host, and barista Segway has our drinks ready as soon as he sees us! They are also very dog friendly and spoil our little fog with treats. Truly a...
