This was a lovely little locally owned coffee shop. The dirty chai latte was good,and the Mexican pizza was the best I've ever had. I love catching places soon after they open and having the opportunity to meet the owner. He was very nice and made all of the food and drinks personally. The interior was clean and decorated with local art, which was cool. I'd recommend getting a sign for parking, because where we parked next to the cafe looked like it was outside a residence. The only thing that keeps this from a 5+ star review was that when we arrived, the café was crowded, so we asked how long our order would take. We were advised 10-15 minutes. There is plenty of outdoor seating in a lovely garden with fountains and artwork- the perfect place to spend a summer afternoon. But what makes Cafe Canyon stand out is the people.
