Our group had a great two-night stay. This is the nicest bang-for-the buck hotel you will find, and I will definitely think Drury everywhere for future consideration. The decor was inviting and the hotel was in very nice shape. Note that they have only valet parking which usually is $16 - this fee was waived however apart of our promo package.
The room was very nice as well as the bathroom. One thing I would recommend though is to get different carpet for the rooms; they did seem a little cheap and dirty compared to the rest of the overall hotel. The bathroom was very spacious an we liked the shower, and it already came stocked with soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower to press and release. The edges of the shower wall caulking could have been cleaned nicer however as I ran my finger down and got slime.
The breakfast buffet is included and is very nice and the food selection very good. They don't have real orange juice (concentrate flavor with water), but most hotels are this way so I expected it.
Drury really gives you the extras at no extra cost. They don't have the 'resort fee' shenanigans, and they have the 5:30PM kickback - 7PM, and that is essentially dinner...chicken tenders, pasta, hot dogs, soup, and more. It's a nice buffet and saves you money so you don't have to buy dinner somewhere. 21+ get three free alcoholic drink vouchers to use for each night too. Impressive!
This hotel is in a great location - in the heart of Sante Fe and right behind a beautiful cathedral, and a few minutes walk to the City square and also Canyon Road. I never before associated Drury with quality because I just simply didn't know...I didn't expect it...but now I can be a lifelong customer and scope out Drury hotels on future vacations.
Also - the rooftop pool & jacuzzi were great - open until 10PM! They have a nice bar and hangout area fenced on the other side of the rooftop pool too - very upscale!
The Assistant Manager was also around during breakfast saying hello to all of the guests. The staff here really care and management really knows what they are doing. This is...
Read moreAfter about 4 hours at this hotel, I was sure I was going to rate this hotel a 2 but landed on 4. It grew on us over time. The major reason for dissatisfaction is value of room for the price. All in with taxes and valet parking was $500 a night. I have stayed at high-end hotels for that price in nicer places in nicer rooms. Still feeling the sting :-)|| * We reserved deluxe 2 bed with a Terrace. All the pictures of a terrace room on the website shows large terraces with two chairs and nice views. We had none of that, not even a real terrace. Yes, we could open patio type door but onto a 1 ft wide area that wouldn't even fit one chair. Don't take the 2nd floor rooms. The first floor has really big patios and well... we pretty much had the worst room in the place. We were only there for 2 nights and already unpacked, so sucked it up.| * I thought I would wind down with my free glass of wine - 3 free glasses a night at happy hour!! Imagine my frustration when i was literally the 21st person in line for a free glass on Liberty tree wine. There was a conference going on so they all got there at once and there was one bartender. We skipped happy hour and went back our room (and sat on the bed because we have no balcony) and drank some good wine that we brought. ||There were also a lot of positives:||* Pool area. Lots of seating. Great food and bar. Great service. Great sunset. This probably saved the review! |* Bed super comfortable |* AC worked great and was quiet |* Breakfast had everything you could want |* Every staff member was happy and helpful |* Location can't be beat - 1 block off plaza behind st francis church |* Bathrooms are updated ||This is a big hotel set up for conferences and events. That's not what I want when staying in santa fe. I've stayed at most of the other hotels in the area - this isn't bad but would just be last on my list. ||El Dorado lobby remodel is outstanding. Had some great craft cocktails while listening to piano music. Another outstanding dinner at Lumineria at the Inn and spa at Loreto. Lobster bisque, lobster bucatini and...
Read moreNever have been to Santa Fe. Here for a wedding so I had no clue what this town was about. We arrived early at 9am to Santa Fe and immediately asked if we could do a early check in. The manager said it wasnt a problem at all and was able to get us in the same room we booked ASAP. Talk about customer service eh? Not only that when we checked in, Anna was very hospitable and told us all the local favs on food places, where to go, and most importantly what to avoid. We were also discounted the valet service to half off because she sogned us up for rewards... For free... I am not a fancy person at all. I am looking for good eats, good stays, and most importantly good vibes.
The Drury Inn accomodates someone that is like me. Doesnt want the high end small portioned meals. But rather kick back and enjoy life without pretending to be pretentious with a silver spoon. At night they give out free drinks up to 3. So you can get 3 free beers per person every night. Cmon now, cant beat a free beer. The breakfast is included and its very good. Expect the basics of course but nonetheless it tasted fresh and the american potatoes were crispy 😋. Omelets are made to order and again the customer service is very accommodating. The staff members are always greeting you with welcoming smiles and making sure you are doing well. We hit the rooftop bar and grill for a margarita and was greeted by the manager himself. Upon getting our drinks we mentioned it wasnt as good as we like. It wasnt a problem and he insisted on making the drinks right. First time I have ever had a order remade and it came back perfectly.
Again. I cannot stress this enough. Customer service quality. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.
Our room was spacious for me and my wife. It was very clean, and quiet. I dont like when you stay at a hotel and it feels like you are in a glorified cardboard box. This however did not feel like the walls were made of cardboard.
If you are coming to Santa Fe, spend the extra $ and stay at the Drury. You will not be...
