Update: in response to your response (thank you for that) a man brought the fireplace grate up to the register and told us he personally approved it for a 24 hr return, and then a woman approached us a few minutes later to say the Owner shot it down and said we could only do store credit. We wouldn’t want to contradict the owner, but if she was lying to us that is even worse. We just felt really tossed around and the nail in the coffin was the woman telling us “other people are interested.” It’s such a slimy sales tactic and whenever that happens I want to run for the door. We still feel uncomfortable and weird about it. — Very strange, conflicting experiences here - my husband and I came in here a few weeks ago and had an awesome chat with a man who we think was the owner or at least a manager about a couch we were interested in. We spoke for about 30 minutes and he was so kind! We then mentioned we needed a fireplace grate and he said we should come back for the Mother’s Day sale and buy one and specifically mentioned we could take it home and try it out and then return it if it didn’t work out. So! We come back today and they tell us again, hey, try it out and if it doesn’t work you can return it. We get it up to the register and then are suddenly told before we make our way up to purchase it that actually we can’t get our money back and we could only get store credit if we brought it back. I said even a half hour to test it out would be amazing since we live a couple of blocks away and the salesperson ignored that and instead told us that actually someone else saw it up at the register and was already interested. It made us feel sick so instead of enjoying our time there we said they could sell it to the other interested party and we left. We don’t want to come back again because it was such an awkward experience. :( sad to miss out on a local neighborhood business but luckily there are other stores...

Read moreThis is a treasure-hunters paradise! Allow yourself plenty of time to explore the multiple rooms inside this shop. Wisely, the staff has grouped similar items; for example, if you are looking for unique vintage wooden boxes, you will find them in one location.
The store is packed tight with items, so isles are narrow and circuitous. You might need to ask a salesperson to move something so you can get close to what interests you.
Art of every style lines the walls of each room. Rugs are on the floors, and don’t forget to look up at the light fixtures. There is an enormous case of vintage silver and turquoise jewelry as well as a case of sterling silver flatware and serving pieces.
The staff is helpful, and, if they can’t answer questions, they will find answers somewhere.
I can’t say that you will find huge bargains in the store, but you might find just what you are looking for, and that is...
