Escape to Waterscape — Local services in Santa Rosa Island

This was our first time to escape to waterscape and it was amazing. I was a little nervous at first, because we’ve traditionally gone to the same place for the last three years… and I was taking two toddlers solo! Well — we’ve now found our new forever place! The condo was immaculate, had all the amenities you need to still keep up a good routine with your kiddos, and was quiet at night which is a must for us. We had a rainy day and the owners were so responsive and gave us ideas of things to do which was so kind. As for all the extras — the pool, kid area/pool, lazy river — my kids were entertained and we never had to leave if we didn’t want to! They had adorable kids activities each day of the week too! Since I was solo I was worried setup for the beach would be a bear, but the beach attendants and having chairs already available for you makes it so easy. They even helped me with the wagon! The owners provide basically everything you need: extra chairs, a wagon; which made packing a lot easier for me! Super walkable to delicious pizza, and a quick 2 min drive to the Gulf restaurant which ended up being a fave. I cannot wait to come back! Wow! We had an amazing week at Escape to Waterscape. The unit was beautiful, adorable decor, and so comfy. We loved having the laundry. I had 1 load of laundry to do once arriving home. The unit had a beach wagon, 2 boogie boards, beach chairs, a cooler, and several beach toys. It was great, we just loaded our personal beach items and went. There was also a vacuum for guest use. It was so nice to have and use since traveling in/out at the beach with kids always ends up with some sand inside BUT we tried to always keep up with it.

Waterscape itself, is great. The pools, splash pad, and hot tubs are perfect. Our kids (age 6 and 2) had a blast!! The pools were perfect temperature and depth. The Fudpuckers beach Hut was amazing. Access to the beach was so easy. Having the chairs available for use made it so convenient.

100% pleased with our trip, 100% will reccomend this unit to everyone I know. We are so excited to try the owners other units...

This was an absolutely perfect place for a getaway with our family and young kids. The toddler splash pad and zero entry pool were huge hits with our 2 and 4 year old, and the unit is very thoughtfully equipped for younger kids (games, books, step stool, kids plates, beach toys, beach wagon, etc). The pac man arcade game was an especially huge hit that gave parents an extra minute when needed, and was a big treat for the kids!
