Made reservations months in advance for the Mardi Gras Parade season in Pensacola. At time reservation was made informed them of the total length of pull vehicle & 5th wheel camper & that the pull vehicle would not be staying attached. I received an email about extra charges for vehicle parking a month out from reservation, I replied I would have extra and would pay the extra fee. Upon arrival ladies whom checked me in were very nice thought this would be a great Weekend. OH HOW I WAS WRONG….. I had to remind them there was an extra vehicle and I paid the extra fee. When camper was backed into spot all hook ups ended up being at the front Door, major trip hazard. Parked extra vehicle at the club house early Saturday morning where the identifying tag was displayed on the rearview mirror. Saturday evening I was going through some left over parade throws consolidating when the maintenance man came by and stated that I had to get those things up because the sprinklers would come on at midnight (I had no intentions of leaving them out anyway) Sunday morning upon my return as I parked my truck in the same area it had been parked in ALL weekend before I could exit my vehicle I was stopped, rudely questioned if I was a paying guest then told that I could not park in that area because employees would be arriving to park in that area I had to move to the other side of the RV resort –so I did. When I was walking back to our campsite I was once again questioned if I was a paying guest, I replied yes, was asked which spot so I informed them of the spot number and I was told I could not park where I had previously been parked all weekend I told the person that I had paid for extra parking – I was then informed that they were NOT in the extra parking business. On Sunday as we were outside in our camp area the maintenance person came by and then informed my husband that his truck would have to be moved because ONE tire was on the grass, my husband told the person that due to the 5th wheel he had to back in at an angle that was why the ONE tire was off the concrete- the employees reply was well the boss is funny about his grass you got to move- my husband asked shouldn’t customer service be more of a priority the employee stated no it wasn’t. After the festivities on Sunday we prepared to leave (as I had told them upon check in we would be leaving early). I returned the key card to the office and just politely informed the person at the desk that we had not had a good experience. She just stared at me, didn’t offer an apology. As we pulled out and circled around the park to exit a permanent resident that I know and had told of our experience was speaking with park management, as my husband approached the entrance the park/resort employees just watched and we had to personally move the barricades to exit the park…. The least they could have done was assist …considering our experience up to this point it was not surprising they did not. Chalking this up to a lesson learned and reviewing park/resort to let others know how they...

Pros: Unbeatable beachfront location, clean facilities, top-notch amenities, friendly staff. Cons: Potentially tight campsites depending on the site, pricier than some options, loud music from the tiki bar for some. Would I Recommend It?
Yes, but with reservations. Read moreWas not happy with our experience here. If you are looking for a great beach front resort, this is not it. The beach is hard and full of broken shells (not sand) which is very uncomfortable for kids. You will also have to use a wooden path that bridges you over the rock shore to get to the water. Again, not the most kid friendly. Our "premium" site, which was NOT on the water and the motorhome adjacent to our site has backed up way beyond their concrete pad which reduced our space greatly (enough to not be able to extend our awning from the RV). In their defense, they did apologize and said they were leaving the following day. Because we were disappointed with the beach that day, we decided to try out the pool. It is a very small pool. With all of the above said, we just knew we were not going to be able to enjoy the remaining 3 nights at this resort. We went to the office and said we were checking out and going somewhere else. They state there are no cancellations and we would not be refunded any money. The next day we called and another lady told us in order to request a refund, we needed to write an email. We did not get a response to our email so I emailed again 5 days later to request a status update because it had been more than week since we left this resort. Still, after a week, no response, and no refund.
If you are looking for a spacious site, this is not the place. If you are looking for a soft beach to spend your day at, this is not the place. There are less expensive places, that have 10x more space, better views, and better pool just down the way. I would recommend somewhere else if you are looking to entertain young kids.

8/24/16 Update: They will NOT be refunding our money to us and are going to be charging us for ALL 4 nights (even though we stayed just 1 night - weren't even there more than 16hrs). I would really do your homework before making a reservation here. They will not refund any nights once you...
