Northwest Santa Rosa Library — Attraction in Santa Rosa

New to the area and as we entered the doors to obtain our Library Card, we could immediately tell that this Library was supported by its local Community. It was busy and most of the resources throughout were being used. It appeared newly renovated and was quite clean with nice light inside. The main desk and the gal behind it was so darn helpful and her positive energy was contagious! She showed us around, helped me locate a classic Jack London book, and best of all... Been about a decade since I've been to a library. I was extremely satisfied with all the extra things we can now check out, they didn't have a book I was looking for. Although that was no problem! One of the staff assisted and was able to retrieve it from another county! I enjoy the child's section extremely, they have tablets to use and computer games for children. Once they were even giving out craft gift bags. Definitely an amazing place...

Each library has its own feel/vibe to it and has its own special selection of books that other libraries don't have. The Northwest Regional Library has an ample sized cook book section and math and science book section. The children's department is very large and they often have fun activities for preschoolers up to teenagers. Each reference librarian and technician and so helpful and knowledgeable. I love this...
