I worked for Starbucks for years, so I should know how a customer should be treated. One morning my boyfriend and I got a chai latte from here. I went to my car and got in but then realized that I needed to use the restroom. I went back in (I was dressed in sweatpants and was just mourning a close friends death who got killed on a motorcycle, so I wasn't dressed in a pants suit, but by no means looked homeless.) The manager literally yelled at me from across the room that the restroom was for customers only. I told her I was a customer and she continued to ask the cashier in disbelief. The young lady (who rang me up and was very nice) confirmed that I was a customer. I had been in this Starbucks many times on my way to work and was never treated this way! Even after I told her I was a customer she basically informed everyone that she didn't believe me. I asked one very feminine gentlemen behind the counter what her name was and he proceeded to say "That's our MANAGER!" defending her... And I said that's nice... I was treated unfairly so I want to know her name, he wouldn't give it to me, but the nice young lady over heard and saw the entire situation and how unjust it was and proceeded to give me the name. I will definitely be bringing this up with corporate. A company such as Starbucks that centers themselves around customer service has never taken a situation like this lightly. Very disappointing. Luckily she didn't know I was a local guide, they just stereotyped me and I got to see how any individual not suited up is treated here....
Read moreHorrible staff, they're slow and stupid and rude. Friday morning staff will sit there and talk badly about their coworkers instead of taking orders in a timely fashion. They constantly mess up drinks (almost like they're doing it on purpose). The most unStarbucks Starbucks ever, most horrible customer service. Usually Starbucks takes good care or their patrons and makes sure they want to come back, not this one!! I am so disappointed that I will never go to that Starbucks again even if I'm shopping at the mall. I was torn between this one and a couple more that are within 5 mins, please go to others and not this one, this one is HORRIBLE...
Read moreUpdate 5/24/18 It is a Starbucks. It is not as good, or as comfortable as the Mission/HWY 12 one, but is now more consistent than the Hopper Ave location. It is fine and I go fairly often because it is close to home and open till 9pm . Their evening Food and Wine "thing" never seems to have gotten going, but I did see a nice guitar player one Th night and there are often lots of nice customers to chat with. Taz is really good Barista and lady who keeps things...
