DO NOT get your makeup done here if you are a black or brown girly. I spent $90 on a full glam and it was a complete waste of time and money. It was obvious by her progress and my final product that the makeup artist was not well trained on how to do makeup on darker skin tones. I tried several times to correct her and showed my displeasure with the look but after a while trying to correct someone who should know how to do their job is exhausting and disappointing. I even showed her a picture of my previous Sephora makeup look that I wanted to recreate but I think it was too far out of her ability and she proceeded to practice on my face anyway. Near the end she showed me the finished look and I asked her to go back and fix something but she declined saying that part of the service was over. I left my makeup appointment very dissatisfied and with $90 less just to redo it for my event in a hurry. I have had more favorable experiences with good makeup artists at fashion valley mall and I will go there instead...
Read moreMy experience wasnât good enough to give a 5 stars rating, cause while checking out a young boy was on the cashier was very helpless to give me information about the products that i ask him for, in the first impression he didnât welcome me in, i think heâs racist or don't appreciate serving women, he was just rushing me to pay without even a smile on his face, i would like to talk with a manager there but i was in a hurry unfortunately, this behavior is not acceptable, if his a boy not appreciating selling a sephora product that specifically have a big target of women so why you here in that job, and he was yawning before and while serving me. If you are sleepy you can get a rest, he was very lazy to serve and gave me a boring feeling instead of the other girls smiling and asking if i want help. Please just move from this position cause we are coming all along this way and spending money to be well treated and to be welcomed by beautiful faces and...
Read moreCustomer service wasn't great. I had $500 available credit and she said my card did not process. She didn't help me with trying to figure out why it didn't work. Most Sephora stores have employees who are kind and will be glad to assist you if you have a problem with your card. She had a insolent attitude and her name was Shantal. Im not sure why she came off impatient and mean. My experience in Santee has been horrible lately I'd expect at least some better customer service. I'll be ordering from Ulta if it happens again. Such a shame... she only offered to help at the end when I SUGGESTED to her that most retail stores offer to call the credit card company for you if there's a problem. And it was my mother's birthday today. Can you believe this? Lol... if you don't want to work at Sephora then maybe you shouldn't...
