Went to get a phone for my dad that lives in Mexico 24/7. About a year ago I went to the T-Mobile store off mission gorge road and got helped out by a representative(canât think of their name) I explained to them that I need to get my dad a phone because this is the only way we can communicate due to not being able to see him for months at a time. Sometimes a year. This representative told me that it shouldnât be a problem to get him a phone which I then explained again that he lives in Mexico 24/7 and I want to make sure that this is something they can do. They then said that itâs not an issue. So I got the phone. Tell me why 2 months later down the line my dad suddenly stops getting data on his phone. Only calls and texts. No images no gps no internet. Nothing. I called customer care at 611 and they couldnât figure it out. So finally after calling and talking to a couple different support members they mention that the reason they canceled the data and internet was because itâs against their policy for customers to have the phones in Mexico for more than (X) amount of days. So I raised my concern to the customer help person and they told me that itâs unfortunate but thatâs just their policy. Now due to not being able to get the phone so easily from my dad because of certain reasons I finally get the phone in possession. I finally have time to go to the T-Mobile store. Once there I walk in and am greeted by Juan. Apparently heâs the manager there. He was going in lunch. No big deal. I waited for him to come back. At first he was very professional and listened to me. I voiced my concerns to him about said representative that sold me the phone and he takes him to the back. Once being in the back for a while manager Juan comes back out and basically starts telling me that there is no way his employee promised me that because apparently quote on quote â thatâs the first thing he trains his employees on. If as soon as a new customer mentions that the phone is permanently internationally used they automatically say they can not help usâ so why is it that when I mentioned that this phone was to be used 24/7 in Mexico was I not told about this. The manager goes to the back and said representative comes up to me very defensive saying âwhy do you have my name in your mouth talking to my manager about me lying that I told you false informationâ Maybe because you did. I was very straight forward with the manager that if I would have known that if they would have told me that they couldnât do what I needed I would have kept my service with them and found a different alternative because I have been with T-Mobile for almost 13 years. itâs not like I was unhappy with the phone plan. I was unhappy with the way I was treated and lied to by this employee. Then all of a sudden I have the manager, the employee that I was making a complaint about and another employee In front of me. I donât know if this was a tactic or whatever. But Iâm sure itâs all on camera. Customers around and all. I went in trying to make a complaint and basically got told too bad because I asked the manager â are tot able to help me out with this issue today or notâ he legit said â this is something youâre gonna have to figure out yourselfâ I asked for the district managers information and he said no. He said I needed to give him my phone email and information and only after he provided his side of the story to the district manager then they will contact me.
13 years of service with T-Mobile and 1 employee is all it took. 3 against myself? Seems pretty hostile to me...

Military members use caution!! Tmobile entices military members with discounts etc HOWEVER! When you are deployed Tmobile will deactivate your discount and refuse to compensate the charges. This is fact not fiction. They will remove your discount without notice (violating their own agreement) If you do not verify WHILE YOU ARE DEPLOYED!! DO NOT GET PLAYED THINKING THIS COMPANY HAS YOUR BACK!!
ISSUE NOT HONORING PROMOTIONS!! We had service for about 3 years with a smart watch/ tablet for free on promotion. We had to make 24 months of payments! We well cleared this but now they are saying they want additional money to UNLOCK the devices since we are leaving! They scammed us on 2 devices that aren't worth the money they are asking to unlock them đđŻ. Such a scam!!
This store "specifically" promotes itself as a "Corporate store" however this specific store is not authorized to do just about anything. For example CANCEL SERVICES!! Tmobile in general is notorious for creating loopholes and hidden fees for customers finally choosing to leave the nonsense behind (Tmobile) although this store boasts abilities to start service and sell you products (much like a normal retail store) and the cherry on top đ if your phone needs to be turned off airplane mode you can come here đđŻ. What a worthless use of corporate funds to push a store labeled as corporate that does nothing more than your everyday tmobile store.
The employees get mad like your talking to them! No your company is screwing over service members and you act careless all while blaming servicemembers who are out serving your ability to get rich!! Tmobiles employee attitude is pathetic, tmobiles treatment of active duty servicemembers is disgusting!!
If your a costco member you will pay Half of what tmobile offers including a list of perks. Better service in general with a vip tower option. Costco even is offering 100 dollar gift cards PER LINE!!!
Stay away from Tmobile! This company is not...
Read moreThis location SUCKS. Went in this week with my husband because we wanted to switch from Verizon (who we have been with for more than 15 years) and we had started the process over the phone. They sent us a bunch of sim cards for our iphones and said "have at it" basically. We went into this Tmobile store to hopefully get some in-person help and immediately we were treated like a couple of idiots who don't know how to install a sim card. Mr New York behind the desk acted like we had just interrupted his hang time with his coworkers by bringing in some actual WORK. He even interrupted my husband mid-sentence to shout out "his boy" that walked in behind us. When another employee asked if he could help the man that walked in behind us, Mr New York again interrupted my husband and said "nah that's my boy ill help him in a minute" ..........when I finally lost my cool after the way he was talking to us he says "excuse me ma'am you seem frustrated" Oh, really? YA THINK? He might be able to talk to people any type of way in New York but this is California bro. Find a new job. You suck. My husband still wasn't able to get his phone connected to t-mobile even after Mr NY told him to "come back in an hour." We ended up going to a different t-mobile store where the service was SO. MUCH. BETTER. Do not waste your time at this location. Also they mentioned their manager was on...
