My mother and I went to Luna Grill in Santee. We hadn't been there in a long time. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the customer service. Brandon took our order. He gave us time to navigate the menu and place our orders, which was appreciated in this world, where everyone is on a rush. He also asked if I wanted a water cup since I hadn't ordered a drink. The bathroom was clean and well taken care of. The food was phenomenal, just the gyro meat dried out a lot. Kaylee was very patient with me and my couple return trips for to go boxes, and she brought out the gyro meat they had forgotten to give my mother. And last but not least, Julian, the manager, wiped down all the tables himself. Overall, I was impressed. The only reason I rated the atmosphere as a four was because I'm on the spectrumand the music was a little stimulating for me, but overall, for a normal person, I can see why this place is a 4.8. It's totally awesome...
Read moreI'm a frequent Luna Grill patron but this new location would benefit from some small improvements to regain my regular business. I recommend calling and ordering in advance either by phone or through the app. I've eaten at Luna Grills a lot, a times at least once a week so I'm very familiar with their portion sizes and the Mediterranean chicken salad I had was lack luster. I'm not referencing anything costly like chicken or couscous but simply the mixed greens in the salad. For a $16 salad I think they can offer more. Also, quick tip. The employee told me today that pita bread is now by request only. Not that it costs more but that you have to ask for it. As a loyal patron I'm not a fan of this change. I believe a gourmet salad should offer this as a courtesy. Ill go back, but if this wasn't an isolated incident I think I'll just grab Chipotle next door instead as my...
Read moreI seriously had some of the best service of had in a VERY long time especially at a fast casual/fast food place. I walked in and Tristan, the cashier, had a huge smile on his face and politely and knowledgeable answered every question I had about the menu. I was gonna take it to go but the atmosphere was so nice and welcoming I decided to stay and dine in. I had a gyro plate with rice, house salad and tzatziki sauce. The food was fresh and very tasty. If much rather come here and a pay 15 bucks for fresh ingredients than for the same amount of money for a stale burger served to me by people that seem to hate their job. While I was dining, Tristan and what looked like a manager, both stopped by my table to see if I needed anything. This is service you just don't get anymore. I really enjoyed my meal and...
