Went to this Verizon location yesterday and had amazing customer service from a gentleman in which I wish I got his name. He opened my account up right away, gave me advice to max out the best deals possible and was helpful, if only yesterday I could of continued the sales with him. Now I wish I would of waited till Monday when he worked again.
I normally dont write bad reviews but that is not the case today. Truthfully the only reason why I decided to write this review is because I felt like my emotions hindered me from fully explaining to the manager what had happened. The frustration hormonal water works just made me embarrassed so I walked out before she could say anything thing. I am 34 weeks pregnant and ready to pop, thus getting out of the house or doing anything for myself is exhausting and draining. Today I went in to get a new phone for the 1st time in forever, a bit of a gift to myself.
I walked up to the only available sales rep and told him I wanted to purchase a Samsung. My 1st what the heck moment was when he didn't even bothered to walk me over to the Samsung line and explain the difference, I verbally had to ask for him to show me and explain. Why do I feel like this was important, well 1st off its his job to sell, and 2nd I was on deployment all of last year so I have basically been living under a rock for a year and have no idea what is even out.
He then went on to explain that the Ultra is not in stalk at the store, but the Note is. We went on to see the difference on a touch screen they provided to see what the delivery would look like. When I asked about the Note it then switched to none of the Samsungs are in stalk. Thus I decided to go with the Ultra seeing as either way the phone would have to be ordered.
When I asked how long the order time frame was he told me that the white and black ultras would take 2 business days where as the bronze would take up until June. So I decided to go with the white Ultra.
During the check out and trade in process I Got absolutely 0 help from him. He just sat there telling me to scroll and look instead of actually breaking down things and explaining. For instance why I needed to changed my already unlimited plan to another more expensive plan for the trade in, especially when I have been a loyal customer for 10 +years. Or how does Verizon decide what trade in amount you get per phone. I got only 400 dollars when my screen is in perfect condition and i just have 2 small chips on the back corner.
It basically seemed like I am getting jipped into paying more, every time I blinked. When I would ask these questions he would just shrug his shoulders.
I finally got irritated enough and said maybe I should switch providers and he basically told me to do so
I should of just stayed home and did this myself. Then when he would answer my questions it was like I was a bother to him with all my questions.
He would tell me one thing then it would change. He was just rude like he didn't want to help me out, all which in the end is costing me because now I have to contact customer service and get things fixed like devices dollars added. That he didn't tell me I needed to click, or even show me where before the purchase was completed. He didn't even try to help me with getting a protective case, or even a screen saver
No warning about the sales tax and upgrade fees up front. He told me it would be on my bill which was a lie, when I checked out they wanted it all upfront which is fine if i was warned and not just blind sided.
At the end of all this he was just rude, rude through the entire process. I went in to the store to get myself a small gift and literally left crying out of frustration. I have worked in sales I know what customer service is.
After all said, the phone will not even be shipped in 2 days either. So that was another lie "miss information" .
The manager at the time seemed very sweet and understanding when I spoke to her, I just wish I could of fully explained and expressed the situation and not let my...

All our phones went black early May, 2024, my phone was dead... fried from their blackout.
They promised to replace my phone I had paid for in full about a decade earlier. I paid for insurance since then.
My replacement phone, a used Galazy S10 was supposed to be mailed 1 day air, it didn't arrive for 5 days. So I had to run and buy a replacement phone in Verizon Santee myself and I paid for it in full, to prove my identity at work. Even though I returned the Galaxy S7 phone (that Verizon fried....) immediately, they said I didnt return it. They had received it around May7, 2024. I saved tracking number and had to provide it to Verizon multiple times, to prove my Galaxy S7 was returned and in their warehouse. See photo, But they charged me for it June 25, 2024.
Verizon had my phone and promised not to charge me. Then they lied. They also had multiple other lies, they told me I returned a tablet, then they said I returned the wrong Galaxy S7 phone.
They didn't give me credit the phone they fried and I returned, after 2 month of listening to their lies, talking to people in India at their call center, they took $1,170 out of my bank account for a returned GalaxyS7 they have, and a used Galaxy S10 insurance replacement I have. All phones I paid for in full. I also asked for them to I return my phone, and I will mail back replacement phone, they refused. So they kept my galaxy S7 and charged me $1,170.00 the replacement phone is a used Galaxy S10, which is fraud and thievery. On top of that, the due date was July11th, then without warning, they changed the date to June 25, and took money out of my account for a bill that was not even due yet.
I can buy a Galaxy S14 from tracphine for $99 from walmart and it works better than Verizon does using the same lines Verizon uses. Something is wrong here!
At same time $100 month international plan didn't work for 5 days for my daughter who was out of the country. VERIZON promised they'd credit me for lack of her service ... they didn't .... they just exteded the date 5 days longer .... when she was no longer there anymore.
At same time all our phone had multiple problems, blacking out, text stopped working. Missed employer phone calls due to no service away from wifi Our phones only worked on wifi we paid for with Cox.
Towers down in Harbison Canyon, daughter had no coverage at her home, no relief on bill for any missed service she had, the tower has been down for a month, so her phone only works on wifi with Cox. The minute she left her house, she had no service.
Then Verizon raised our bill from $300 a month, to $1400, no explanation why.
In addition, I extended service for Verizon for all my neighbors to use in Rios Canyon for free, no cost to Verizon. Not even one perk or thank you, or reimbursement for electricity I used..
No thank yous ever. I paid faithfully every month between $300-$400 a month for 22 years! No loyalty to me after 22 years of faithfully paying Verizon.
I had to switch to AT&T after they took $1,170 directly out of my bank account for a used Galaxy S10 that wasn't even worth any trade value.
Don't fall for the $10 savings for a bank account, not worth being robbed.
My bank is disputing this, as it is a crime!
Verizon didn't care, after all the lies ...see photos as proof .... I had to buy all new phones and go to AT&T.
Verizon cost me over $4,000 this month ... to pay and switch to AT&T! But now we finally all have cell service again, after 2 months of off and on again service and permanently downed towers....and lies from India, hours on the phone woth them and no resolve!
Beware, VERIZON isn't the same company anymore!
Lock up your bank accounts they...
Read moreNote: Verizon as a service provider is spectacular. I've not had a single problem with their cell phone service or the customer service for their overall company. This review is specifically about this particular retail location.
At the beginning of the year, I visited this store to buy a tablet device. I was trying to decide between the Samsung Note 10.1 and a (less expensive) Windows tablet. I wanted a tablet I could use for apps and video streaming on the go, but also wanted something that could occasionally act as a laptop for school when I needed it to, but without the bulk. I like Samsung products and I hate the Windows 8 format, but because I wanted something that could be used for Word documents for school I was leaning towards the Windows tablet. The guy who was "helping" me (I can't remember his name, or else I would warn you against him) sold me on the Samsung tablet by telling me it was 32gb compared to the Windows 16gb and that Microsoft offered an Office Suite compatible with Android tablet devices for about $20 in the Play Store.
When I got home and viewed the internal memory, I noticed that my tablet was in fact 16gb, not the 32gb I was originally told. I took it back to the store thinking they had grabbed the wrong box from the back, only to be told by a different employee that what I was charged for was the 16gb and they don't even carry a 32gb in their store. I was frustrated, because part of the reason I purchased that tablet over the less expensive Windows tablet was because it had twice the space for not significantly more money. But, it would still work and I wasn't over-charged, so I decided to keep the tablet. When school started up, I searched the Play Store for this Microsoft Office suite, but I couldn't find it. I searched the internet hoping to see if I could find out how to go about it, only to find that Microsoft had no Office Suite for Android (they do have one for phones now, but they still do not offer a tablet-compatible version and I can't find anything by searching from my tablet)!
I'm not sure if this guy just had no idea what he was talking about or if he intentionally lied to me to sell me the more expensive product, but either way I'm not impressed with a store that hires either idiots or liars. I decided to keep the tablet, because returning it at that point seemed like such a hassle, and even though they sold it to me under false pretenses they still had the nerve to tell me they'd have to charge me a restocking fee if I did!
They did later contact me, offering me a discount on a memory card to make up for the lie I was told about the amount of space it offered. I never followed up because even at a discount, I don't want to give this store a single dime of my money. The fact that they at least TRIED to remedy their absolute failure at customer service is why I'm rating them a 2 instead of a 1. I hope that in the last year they've improved, but I will never risk returning to that location...
